Excellent hotel, right on the beach, beautiful terrace restaurant to have breakfast. The photos don’t do it enough justice! 3min walk to the marina with lovely restaurants and paddle board / kayak hire etc. 30min bus to split, the bus stop is right outside the hotel, taxi from the airport is about €45 and takes about 40mins. Great location on the beach. Family room had everything we needed. Buffet breakfast had good choice of food and was plentiful. Hotel is in a suburb of Split, around 20 minutes drive from the centre so most suitable for beach rather than sightseeing.

We had a very good time at the hotel Jona. The welcoming is very good and the room comfy. The hotel is on the beach with a good restaurant. The place is lovely. I recommend it.

Spa area was fantastic perfect for a late october stay. Rooms were spotless. Plenty of options at breakfast. And a few steps away from a lovely beach walk (40 mins) into old town. We had a great stay and didnt want to leave.

Perfect location in the heart of Old Town. Our room was very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. All the staff are amazing - always happy to help with tips and advice. Would definitely recommend.

A beautiful hotel that has all your needs

It’s a lovely hotel in absolutely the most perfect location in old town Split. Smack bang in the middle of the old town. It couldn’t be better. Lovely, large rooms, tastefully decorated. The building is bizarrely split into two hotels with the Central Square Heritage hotel occupying the top two floors. It makes no difference but it could be a wonderful hotel if they merged.

We booked the Imperator based on the great reviews on Expedia and we were not disappointed. We made contact with Tomo via WhatsApp prior to arrival and he met us at the ferry port and took us to the accommodation with a small history and orientation tour on the way. The guesthouse is set between two courtyards of a small cafe/bar which is on the ground floor and is quite a nice little spot, we had no noise disruption at any point during our stay. We stayed in the Villa Split Luxury rooms Annex. There are now 2 locations (both excellent), so make sure you find out the exact address. The annex is newly opened in 2016 and has been done in complete luxury. The styling is BEAUTIFUL, with some traditional stone walls on show mixed in with newly plastered/painted cream walls and beautiful wooden floors. Great find in the centre of the old palace area of Split. Room had everything needed for a short (2-3 days) stay. Host Luka was incredibly helpful with directions to find the place (essential given the old palace labyrinth) and with restaurant suggestions. I’d happily stay again

Lovely rooms, right in the middle of the old town. Hotel owner is lovely and her staff are really helpful.

The location is central to the sights. The host, Dino, was so helpful both before and during the trip. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was spacious, very clean, had a kettle and mini fridge in the room. The only downside was that we never slept as the pillows are awful. There is no choice of different ones but they provided no support at all. Mattress was great. No coffee or milk sachets on the hospitality tray which was a real shame as we cook but and up to a coffee. There was only 2 tea...

Ivan from reception came out to meet us and helped carry our suitcases to the hotel. Received a welcoming glass to prosecco. We stay in a double standard room, which was perfect. The breakfast was delicious. All the staff at the hotel were excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous location. Room had been very recently renovated. Spacious and stylish. Luka was proactive and super helpful. Would recommend.
