"Maddie (the owner)was there if required and very helpful. Well equipped and quiet place to stay. If you have children there is a vast amount od toys and a toy shed. There are chickens at the end of the garden and love to be fed any scraps you have left. The garden is well kept and very pleasant. I give it 5 stars."

"Dreadful steep, uneven road to get to property with nowhere to park outside property - the offer was to park in the road at the bottom of hill! However, gite itself was wonderful- clean, tidy & every convenience. However had it been made clear about the steep narrow road & no parking, we would not have chosen this property. Definitely no good if you have mobility issues, fine if you don't! We also expected a 'sea view' - definitely not from the property! All in all, rather misleading but a...

"The host was very nice and welcoming. We asked for a couple of recommendations of restaurants and places to visit and we had a list waiting for us when we arrived. :) We also needed some hangers and the host brought some the next day as well as a new drying rack. The place was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The area is very quiet and not far from Honfleur and Deauville/Trouville. We would definitely stay there again."

"We had a very pleasant stay at this quirky octagonal cottage. It is in a little hamlet up a long lane so was very quiet. The owners house was closer than it seems in the photos but she left us to ourselves unless we needed something. The lane to the Le Gibet is narrow but is one way so you don't have to worry about meeting another car going up. Entering the lane going up the hill is fine as its on the right. "Nous avons séjourné chez Brigitte pour nous changer de l’air de la banlieue parisienne, et nous sommes ravis d’avoir choisi ce lieu. Brigitte et son mari sont des gens adorables et bienveillant, qui vous accueillent avec un enorme sourire. Le cottage est propre, décoré avec goût, le petit déjeuner copieux et le petit plus : le spa sur la terrasse! De plus le cottage est situé à 10 minutes de pont l’évêque et 30 minutes d’honfleur. "The complex is perfectly situated and is an easy walk to Deauville and Trouville-sur-Mer and the restaurants of both. The decor of the property exterior was looking a little tired but contractors were on site and repainting those areas. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The pool is heated and both inside and outside aspects allowed swimming throughout our stay. Definitely a venue we will visit again as the area has everything."

"Everything is great. The only problem: There are 2 hotels with the same name, Odalys, and they are about 500 meters apart. I went to the wrong one. Parking is a little tricky if you arrive at night because it is difficult to know and see where the paid parking lots are. Once you are there, it is a GREAT place to stay."
