"Excellent location walkable to many stores, restaurants, and attractions. Easy to find an Uber/Lyft and close to the T. Around the corner from Boston Common. Clean hotel and room, friendly attentive staff and great value. Would definitely stay here again!"
"Staff was wonderful and the room was updated and clean. The on-site parking could only fit compact vehicles. If you have a large SUV, van, or truck, you will not fit in their parking garage (6ft clearance) and will need to find parking elsewhere (which can be difficult). Our room did not have a microwave. AM coffee served was terrible and breakfast had very few options, however, restaurants and cafés are close by."
"I was disappointed in this hotel so my first stay will be my last. The room was the smallest I’ve ever stayed in but not efficient with space the way Japanese hotels are designed and there were many non-working items in the room from the desk lamp to the bathroom fan. The bathroom needed a light cleaning when we arrived. At night, we couldn’t mask the street noise using the fan as white noise so we didn’t sleep well.
Conversations other guests had in the hallway on their way to their rooms could be overheard clearly and verbatim. A pair of wine glasses was offered in the room but no coffee cups so we couldn’t make coffee or tea when we needed it. I anticipated the valet parking fee (although on my way out learned there’s overnight parking around the corner for a third of the cost and greater convenience) but not the property fee that showed up on my final bill.
The lobby feels more like a transportation hub than a place with ambiance where you might recharge, wait for a loved one, or relax. This was a drawback for me given the limited size of the room. We stayed in a deluxe king room on the 10th floor."
