What a fantastic hotel! Unbelievable value for what you get. Huge pool, very clean and spacious rooms, unbeatable location on Choeng Mon beach. Such a lovely area - sandy beach with calm, warm sea and many lovely beach bars and restaurants. Also fantastic cafes on the main road for breakfast / brunch. Very chilled vibe. Had a 2 week stay at this hotel and from the moment we arrived it was amazing. Staff are very friendly, attentive and professional. All the food in the hotel (and believe me we tried pretty much all of it) was brilliant. Short walk along the beach to Bophut Fishing village with more bars, restaurants and shops. Only negative was that the holiday ended too early. Would definitely go back.

Stayed at Popppies for 12 nights - what a wonderful place. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful - starting right from the pickup from the airport with cold drinks and face cloths in the taxi. It is situated in an ideal location right on the beach in the middle of all the amenities - but sufficiently secluded as to believe you were in a little oasis cut off from the rest of the busy resort. Loved the little personal touches of the place and its uniqueness - would definitely recommend...

The hotel and service are wonderful. Muky cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. Excellent service helping with booking anything you want to do. The beach is beautiful and the views are amazing. This is a lovely property with a great bunch of staff. Room was spacious and kept clean. It’s a bit further from fisherman’s village than I anticipated but exceptional we’re always happy to arrange a taxi for us . We ate lunch here twice and it was great, good quality and served with a smile.

Enjoyed my stay here thoroughly, and the staff were incredibly helpful whenever it was needed. They have a great view from the beach, breakfast is delicious, the cooking class was really great fun and the private villas are incredible if you want to enjoy the privacy of waking up to your own swimming pool. What a place! The location is high up on a mountain with amazing views. You are given round the clock usage of private cars which the drivers take you where you want to go, mostlyis courtsey. Each villa is individual and all with traditional Thai decor. We stayed in Camellia villa which has fantastic ocean views and it’s own plunge pool. The villa was fully equipped with everything you would need along with special touches of oriental flowers and fruit. Water was placed in your fridge every day...

Best place to stay in Koh Samui. Fantastic rooms, hotel immaculate, staff so friendly, great choice of breakfast, Thai, European , British, and a la carte. The hot items for breakfast could be warmer though. Great beach location and the only place to stay in this area of Koh Samui

Our family of three (husband, myself and 7 year old daughter), have just returned from an almost two week stay at Kimpton Kitalay. We had an incredible time at the hotel. The Resort was excellent. The Villas were beautifully kept with some unique features which made it very special. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Excellent stay. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and their attention to detail was fabulous. Loved the decor of the property. It was traditional, with the bamboo and wood decor, gives the place a zen like feeling. Best part was the location of the hotel and the way it is designed. Have just spent a week in a tropical pool villa at this new resort. It is a truly 5 star experience. A personal butler attends to your every need (Max: you were outstanding). We absolutely fell in love with this place! Ok, so it was not in perfect decorative order but it really was so lovely! The staff are so lovely and helpful and the place was kept clean. The location was absolutely ideal - quiet at night but close enough to Chaweng nightlife. We enjoyed the beach, massages and great local food during the day and Chaweng in the evening.
