"Our first room was now clean. Lots of hair and stains on the bed linen. Got a new room directly without problem. The second room also had hairs on the bed linen. God a third room without problem. The person in the reception was embarassed and followed to check the bed in the third room."
"A beautiful hotel with excellent staff and facilities. We had breakfast both mornings with the incredible view of the sea and beach. Wouldn’t hesitate to return! "
"Every single staff member was welcoming, friendly and provided excellent service, Julian, Gabriel, Maria, Arnault, Luna, Nicolas, Francois mgr, valet, concierge, restaurant etc - nice quiet town, aside from being unable to swim in ocean first few days; the staff & facility (pool helped) more than made up for the inability to swim in ocean which had unfortunate overflow from stadium toilet. "
"Staying on the Isle des Embiez was fabulous. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful and the hotel room was very clean and comfortable.
The island is beautiful and a wonderful place to explore in the daytime, with small beaches to find.
In the evenings we had wonderful food at Sarti, followed by the magical DJ at Sunset evening and the live band the next night. "
"Great place to stay on your way somewhere. Fantastic breakfast with fresh made pastries and no fuss approach. The rooms was clean but could do with more airing out. "

Provencal house in the heart of Sanary, with private garden and swimming pool
10/10 Excellent
"Beatrice's villa looks idyllic in the lead photograph in the listing and doesn't disappoint. The garden is pretty and a good size for a town-centre property, the swimming pool traditionally constructed from limestone and rendered walls is delightful, the planting simple but effective - with a lovely bourgainvillea over the terrace area, and - of course - charming shutters to shade all the rooms. The interior is plain and simple in it's decoration and furnishing and SO well equipped! The rooms all a good size, and a large dining area is mirrored outside by two dining areas on the terrace. There was a short delay in receiving our instructions about how to access the villa prior to arrival, but once there we met the neighbour who was so helpful both then and throughout our stay.Sanary-sur-Mer itself is a very lovely French seaside town. It's municipal planting and public areas couldn't be better, the marina balances rather than dominates the old port, there's a really excellent DAILY market, many great shops. All the local people we met were friendly and helpful without exception. And Beatrice's villa is a step away from all this, yet such a peaceful retreat. All-in-all it offered us a wonderful holiday. Thankyou Beatrice - and Jean-Jacques!"
"Stay somewhere else!
Communication and ownership is nonexistent at this property. Nor is respect.
We were arriving on a Sunday afternoon. NO ONE at the property. Received an email with gate and lock box codes. NO envelope or keys inside. Emailed property and called no response. Waited hours with no response. The Emergency phone number, which we were told about when we left, was written ALL in French. (So if you don't read french or don't have a phone they don't care)
The room we got was not fully clean.
Squished bug on the wall, streaks on the walls and glass divider in the bathroom. The fan in the bathroom was disgusting, i doubt it has Ever been cleaned. Half a roll of toilet paper. Dishes left in the dishwasher and a pot was dirty in the drawer under the tv. Spider webs above the patio doors.
Shower head/wand was mounted on the wall just above the tap. You have to hold it in your one hand while showering as its aimed at your shins otherwise.
Only positive was that there was adequate parking.
When checking out we brought our concerns to the front desk lady (after spending 25mins on Expedia chat) to which all she did was make excuses and try to blame others and us (because we don't speak/read French)! Then she had the nerve to say she wouldn't charge us for a late check out! It was 10:50am. Are you kidding me. I usually take most little things with a grain of salt when traveling to other countries but after everything, not a chance. Should be rated at a 5/10 max."
