The residenze occupies the top of an old palace. It has been sympathetically and tastefully renovated and furnished blending the new with the old, Its’ location in a small, quiet piazza close to the city centre couldn’t be better. Our room was spotlessly clean and, for a loft, a very decent size. Not surprising for a loft in an old building it has a couple of low beams but they were not a problem. The bathroom likewise was large and modern. Its’ location in a small, quiet piazza close to the city centre couldn’t be better. Breakfast, a buffet, in a room that doubles as both a breakfast and common room was continental. This room has tea and coffee making facilities available all day.
A lift is available to the third floor but people with mobility issues should bear in mind that there are a number of stairs to climb to get to the residenze proper.
I think the Casa Isolani Santo Stefano Is an absolute gem and I would highly recommend it.
