The room is basic but it's got a wonderful view of the mountains and the river that the boat tours pass through. The host was nice to talk with and was helpful with your questions (in English). The rooms were unfortunately not as good so takes the rating down. Drain was clogged in our first room. AC did not work to heat or dry the rooms so it was very moist and cold and we were freezing through the night. I can imagine this place being much better on a warm summer day when that is not a problem and the pool also being more useful."

"Our host Wah couldn't have been more hospitable and friendly. The room was airconditioned on arrival, the bed was very comfortable and room clean and spacious. We had bicycles to use to meander into the main city via a quite back road. Wah helped us with booking tix for the car and our bus journey to our next location. Definately loved loved this stay."

They got us breakfast early and told us we are welcome to use the shower when we were done with our trek. "We stayed here for 2 nights and our stay was great. The receptionist was especially great and always went above and beyond whenever we would ask for things. For example, we asked to ride the bikes late in the evening and he went and got them and adjusted all the seats and made sure they all had lights on. When one didn’t, we had our own light that he went and got something to secure it to the bike. When we had to leave, it was quite early and we needed our clothes washed so he organised it to be washed dried and folded all before 7am! Highly recommend this hotel"
