The hotel looks terrific and looks like a 5 star hotel but the service is far from 5 star. Reception not friendly, very difficult to get information from them about places to visit. Reluctant to give me a map of the area. I live and work near Vinh and this hotel was my first night away from 'home/work'. A lovely weekend and one I shall repeat many times whilst here in the city. The hotel itself for a mid-December weekend seemed like a ghost-town and yet breakfast was quite a bun fight - even finding a table was difficult on Sunday morning. Most definitely to be recommended but there are other hotels which I shall try at least the once before coming back and making this my regular. I had hoped the front desk would run some sort of information service or at least have a local tourism stand for some leaflets on local tourist sites. But when I asked for Uncle Ho I think I was told to go and catch a local bus. Ramp is too steep for a person on wheelchair to wheel up by her/himself. The door to the restroom in the handicapped accessible room is too small for a 64 cm/or 25 inches wide wheelchair to fix.
