"Friendly staff, lovely breakfast, clean rooms "

"Not the 1st time I've stayed in this hotel, and it never disappoints. Whether a standard room or a club one, they are always clean and comfortable. Staff are always friendly and efficient. The amenities are also fab (bar, restaurant, coffee bar, pool, sauna, etc). Across their free car park, there is lots of entertainment that u don't need to go central for (restaurants, bar, hollywood bowl, cinema). Plus 5mins walk there is an Asda shopping area incl shops and a pub. Taxi to the centre is 10 minutes and also not far from the motorway. We will be back again"

"Lovely comfy bed. Lovely staff. Mediocre food. Property has an unloved feel to it. Could be fixed with a ton of plants around the place but that would require some maintenance. Hilariously, there’s a notice asking residents not to climb out of the window onto the flat roof! All this does is tell me that potentially people are going to climb out the windows! This won’t stop the kind that would do it! I’d remove the sign!"

"Lovely comfy bed and adequate generally, but room needs some updating. Last room downstairs we used was in better condition. Plenty of parking and pub food good. Staff helpful and friendly."

"A good overnight stop on our journey to the south coast! Very friendly staff in the bar welcomed us, and were extremely helpful. Nicely decorated and spacious rooms. A good choice of decent meals on the bar menu available in the pub, so convenient not having to dine elsewhere. Excellent value, and both the evening and morning staff were great. Yes, a bit of road noise, and extractor noise heard in our 2 rooms, but we are used to silent nights living in a rural location!"

"Our stay was one night for an event the hotel was clean and friendly. The lift is under pressure as still after a year or so it does all 5 floors which means a long wait or you get taken on a detour . We had a clean room and breafast was nice but no croissants! Lol "

"Exactly what we were looking for for our stay in the Cotswolds. This house is situated so beautifully and perfectly we absolutely loved our one-week stay and I was very sad to leave. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was clean and fresh, The bathrooms and kitchen were modern and functioned well, and the owners are the kind of people you want to be best friends with. They gave us a list of nearby places to visit and each location was well worth it. There are animals (horses, sheep, ducks) on the property that only add to its charm. The pond out front is picturesque and I spent hours watching all the wildlife--mostly birds--while painting. The location of Nell House is on the edge of the Cotswolds and provides a lot of flexibility. From here, we could easily access the heart of the Cotswolds, the Downs and Salisbury, the West over to Bath, or north-east toward Stratford upon Avon. It's only a short train ride into London if needed. We would go out of our way to stay here again. "
