WIFI | AC | Gas Fireplace | Lake View & Lake Access | Hot Tub | 2 Pets Allowed This cottage is designed to take full advantage of the lake views, whether you’re cooking dinner, relaxing in front of the fireplace, soaking in the hot tub, enjoying a quiet moment in the gazebo, or spending the day at the beach. Get your beach vibe on! INSIDE Open concept featuring reclaimed barn wood beams, thick stone walls, and an airy interior with a full wall of windows that makes the most of the phenomenal views, the Bedrock Beach House inspires a deep sense of peace and happiness. The open kitchen is clean and bright with everything you need to prepare meals in. Fridge, Stove, Microwave, dishwasher etc. Seating for 4 at the dining table plus an additional 3 seats at the island where you can chat with the chef and enjoy a meal together, all the while looking at the lake. Living Area has gas fireplace with sweeping views of the the lake. SmartTV so you can login to your own Netflix or enjoy cable we have provided. You can also plug your device in. There is great WIFI. Even on a rainy day it’s so cool to watch a movie and the storm! SLEEPING SPACES Premier offers a Queen bed BR2 has a single over double bed along with a TV with HDMI cable so you can plugin your own device. Bathroom: 3 piece including shower EXTRA'S Extras at the cottage include a SmartTV with cable, AC and Hottub NOTE: Playpen/Highchair available upon request OUTSIDE When you first step out of your vehicle, you'll notice the glorious gardens planted with native grasses and pollinator flowers leading a path to the front door. The side garden is loaded with fresh herbs that can be used in your cooking! The patio offers ample place to sit and relax as you watch the seagulls fly by or enjoy the sunset. Share your family favorites outside with dining for 6\. You can play soccer with friends, take a nap in the hammock or tell ghost stories by the fire at night. You can even sit in the gazebo early in the morning and have a cup of coffee as you listen to the calming waves and birdsong. As night falls, soft lighting illuminates your path down to the gazebo and the beach. Once down at the beach, you can sit on the chairs and relax, go for a swim, or even have a bonfire! The beach itself can change from day to day. The wave action can turn rocks into a lovely sandy beach in a matter of hours. NOTE: Approx. 60 stairs down your private access to the beach. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all. From the moment we stepped into the cottage, it was cozy, had all the amenities and the view was spectacular. Watching the many birds in the morning over coffee, we haven't seen so many blue jays in one setting. The hot tub was perfect as was the fire pit. I would highly recommend this cottage. Bedrock Beach House was perfect for us. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt welcome, like being wrapped in a warm blanket. It was the little touches that made it special.The cottage is perfectly situated for wonderful views of the lake. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Everything was spotless. It has wonderful beach access, but if that’s a little chilly a quick run up the stairs to the hottub is just amazing! We all enjoy the games, both inside and outside. This year we brought our pup with us and she enjoyed her stay just as much! The fire pit and back yard offer beautiful views and space to play. Our choice this year was Bedrock Beach House a choice that I am so happy we made. The cottage itself is stocked with everything you could possibly want to make an enjoyable stay. The sleeping accommodations were comfortable, the second washroom located in the outer shed was a great idea and certainly not what one might think it to be. We had a very hot week and the cottage was never uncomfortable. The orioles kept me amused and they would let you know when the feeder was in need of being topped up. The owner nicely left a jar of Grape Jelly to feed them with. The ultimate was the nightly sunsets no words can explain the beauty. We took a short drive to the Huron County Playhouse to enjoy a live performance that did not disappoint and the proximity to Bayfield allowed for pleasant dinning experiences. The gardens were beautiful, and the rabbit and birdwatching was amazing! The cottage was so well appointed with everything you would need from kitchen utensils to indoor and outdoor games. Jennifer was so helpful with recommendations in the area and was very responsive when we had a couple of questions.
