Great overnight stop to enjoy Blois

Overnight stop off with family, secure parking was a bonus as lots of luggage we wanted to leave in car. Friendly helpful staff, free breakfast better than excepted, with freshly baked pastries and bread. Basic but very clean and perfect with easy walk into centre of Blois for evening.

I like the convenience of Ibis Budget and I’m generally happy with it overall. However, I’m realizing that not every Ibis Budget is created the same. The furniture may be the same but there are other differences. In Vienne, France, just a week ago, I paid for breakfast and found that it had choices which exceeded my expectations and I could help myself easily to everything. In Blois, however, the choices were minimal and my tray with the strict minimum cutlery, coffee cup, plate , and single napkin was set for me to add food to. There were no bowls to be found for the yogourt or fruit salad. The expectation is that you’ll place the wet and runny stuff on your plate with the rest of your breakfast. A bit… unsettling. But a minor aggravation in an otherwise good stay.

Not far from main station and bus stops. The young female staff were friendly. The cleaning ladies too. Quite basic but comfortable enough.

You get exactly what you pay for. A clean bed, clean towels and a clean bathroom. Otherwise it’s small and simple, it’s right in the city center, and if you just want to sleep there and not live there, it’s totally fine.

O quarto que ficamos, depois de termos reclamado do barulho de outros hóspedes, estava limpo reformado cheirando a tinta, o atendimento da Equipe foi muito bom, café da manhã estava muito bom considerando que o hotel é duas estrelas. Além disso, destaco a localidade do hotel que é estratégica.
