Chissay-en-Touraine (Loir-et-Cher) Eglise Saint-Saturnin (XVe, XVIe et XVIIe siècles). L'église se trouve au centre de l'ancien village. On en trouve trace dans des écrits datant de 1150. Elle a subit de nombreuses transformations. L'église, qui appartenait depuis au moins 1156 à l'abbaye de Villeloin, a été reconstruite aux XVe et XVIe siècles par Pierre Bérard, trésorier de France sous Charles VII (1446-1465) et ses descendants seigneurs de Chissay. La nef et la chapelle nord sont du XVe.Le choeur et la chapelle sud datent du XVIe. Le porche est du XVIIe. La tourelle d'escalier est appuyée contre le mur nord. La travée centrale date du deuxième quart du XVIe. L'église a pour particularité de ne pas avoir de clocher. Les cloches ont donc été placées dans le comble du choeur, côté nef. Les cloches se nomment Marie-Louise installée en 1816 et Marie-Madeleine installée en 1897.

Montrichard

Eudes Ier, comte de Blois fit construire une forteresse à Chaumont pour protéger la ville de Blois des comtes d'Anjou. La forteresse d'origine fut brûlée et rasée par Louis XI en 1455, pour punir Pierre d'Ambroise de s'être révolté contre le pouvoir royal. Jacques Donatien le Ray, fils d’un gros bourgeois de Nantes achète le château en 1750. Il y donnait des fêtes populaires, ce qui préserva le château lors de la Révolution de 1789. Il reçoit Benjamin Franklin, Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Son fils, part pour le Nouveau Monde pour y fonder une colonie dans l'Ohio, du nom de Chaumont. Eudes I, Count of Blois built a fortress at Chaumont to protect the city of Blois Count of Anjou.The original fortress was burned and razed by Louis XI in 1455 to punish Pierre d'Amboise of having rebelled against the royal power. Jacques Donatien Le Ray, son of a rich bourgeois bought the castle of Nantes in 1750.He gave popular festivals, which preserved the castle during the Revolution of 1789.He received Benjamin Franklin, Jean-Jacques Rousseau.His son, left for the New World to establish a colony in Ohio, named
