"As a history geek and a crafter, I immediately fell in love with this place, perched up on a hill, clearly seen from the main road. The current owners Ken and Sarah have lovingly restored the house to its 19th century elegance, whilst maintaining the 16th century Tudor elements. The communal rooms are comfortable, the bedrooms all have a theme, I was in the pretty bird room. Excellent breakfast and there's a great pub 3 miles down the road, The Nag's Head, for dinner. "Edward and Helen were so attentive, they spent time telling us about the history of their amazing home. The room was very comfortable, clean and warm. The breakfast was a lovely sociable affair, where we met 4 other guests and had a lovely conversation. Thank you so much Helen and Edward we will definitely stay at Burton Court again."

"We stayed here for my husbands 'big' birthday. Wonderful location and beautiful barn. The pooches didnt want to leave! Perfect for coming together with loved ones. Fabulous walks and perfect for chilling on the decking listening to birds and watching wildlife. Barn is well equipped, spacious, lovely fireplace and host very welcoming and helpful."

Great base for motorcycle trip
"Great stay, perfect base for motorcycling trip. Good place to keep bikes safe and dry in lockup. Rooms comfortable and very reasonable for price. Bar good selection of beers at good price. Staff all friendly and helpful, couldn't fault. Would stay again, thanks"
