Had we been made aware of the issue we could have investigated during your stay. Sadly there is little we can do about the size of the bathroom and shower as this would require significant structural alterations and more that would change so much about how we run the business and the prices we are able to charge . We are saddened that you did not take the opportunity to discuss these with us during your stay so we could have taken action to resolve things. Children were only in the room next to you for half of your stay not the full stay, so certainly not every morning and again you had failed to mention anything so not given us any chance to resolve, there is also the potential for the children noise to have come from the adjacent hotel. We have not had a bar in the property for many years and do not believe any of the listings state that we do, but we will have another look and correct any that we find. Breakfast being an extra, allows guest the flexibility to only pay for a service they use. Had you let us know the water was taking a long time to drain away we would certainly have added some drain cleaner. As for being expensive, the savvy booker knows that there are other ways to get the very best price/deals When it comes to Aircon this is something you are likely to only find in bigger hotels due to the extensive regulations on air quality requirements and you would certainly be paying far more than £24 per night, especially over switch on week end Blackpool is an amazing resort, we wish you the very best in finding suitable accommodation for your next visit

Blackpool really does have something for everyone most of which is a very short distance from the hotel. It would be brilliant to see you again and once again thank you

We are so glad that your experiences of your stay with us was positive. We take your point about the room sizes, however I should point out that all our rooms are individually priced dependent on their size and their floor location. This makes it fair on everyone. Many of our bigger rooms get booked up early, particularly with returning guests, however I am not able to identify which room you stayed in or I could elaborate on this. Very occasionally we have to move people though this is normally to a bigger room with no extra charge. Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences. We are extremely sorry that you caught us on a very bad day. Fortunately for the majority of our guests these are very few and far between. There were are couple of points about your booking which had resulted in the initial call, firstly classing your oldest child as a child, when she was certainly an adult, plus the fact that no deposit had been paid. With regards to not apologising till the Sunday morning, this had been the first time I had bumped into you, as you said most of the time you had been out, also it is often difficult for me to get up the stairs due to health reasons. Your points are taken extremely seriously and to date this remains a unique incident

Jen thank you for your kind words, it really means a lot when some one like yourself, who has to spend a lot of time in B&B accommodation says such lovely things. The issue with the water is once again down to our supplier, who is replacing a lot of the mains supply, around town. This caused issues at the beginning of the year and new work is obviously doing the same and I apologies
