Stayed here last year and again recently. Great location, good rooms, excellent facilities and lovely food at the restaurant. Recommended.

We had a great stay at La bayardine. Our studio was lovely, very clean and had all the facilities anyone could need. Breakfast was great and came along with suggestions of what we could do in the area. Great location with beautiful views and a nice walk into Sarlat centre. Thank you Frank and Nelly. A' bientot. Kind courteous and accommodating host and hostess. A beautiful chateau in lovely surroundings. The local area and restaurants deserve further investigation. As recommended by our hostess- Restaurant Petite Tonnelle definitely worth a visit. 5 stars. Thank you

Lovely hotel in the Dordogne countryside. Nice drives to the sights nearby (20-50 mins to many, many sights). Great restaurant attached to the hotel where we had some fantastic meals and wine (28 euro 4 course menu was fantastic). Pool area and grounds were very relaxing.

The young French staff were excellent. The French have a reputation for being unfriendly well you can forget that nothing too much trouble for this lot

Lovely quiet location looking over the valley. Unfortunately, it was very wet so we weren’t able to enjoy sitting outside on the terrace which looked a wonderful space. Very crazy to drive down into Sarlat.

Small but friendly hotel in the centre of a medieval village. Set in a very narrow street yet unaffected by noise, while the room did not enjoy a view per se, opening the Juliet balcony allowed you a great insight into the heart of French village life. The room was well appointed, scrupulously cleaned and maintained.Muriel the owner/manager was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed for four nights and would recommend it to anyone. Parking was in a free public car park three minutes walk...

Super stay. Lovely, little campsite. Great facilities. Pool was fun. Snacks and drinks available on site. Friendly hist.

The hotel was superb and we had a wonderful time there - shame it was only one night! Great place to stay to enjoy Sarlat.

We came for a weekend in the region and were very well looked after by the owners and their staff. Design was high spec and fitted with the local architecture. Food in the restaurant was great at breakfast and dinner. Would highly recommend!

Comfortable stay with very good food and well-trained staff. Beautiful views and easy walk into the town Free on-site parking.

The property and views were stunning. Spacious room and bathroom, breakfast was also good. My only gripe would be the room could do with a small fridge, as there is nowhere nearby to get a cold drink.

Three nights. Everything good including buffet breakfast. Excellent restaurant nearby at the side of the cathedral called Maine I think.

Arrived after check-in was closed but the staff were super friendly and it was no problem. Good location, free parking nearby and clean and tidy. Room was OK size and clean. Prices very reasonable. Recommended.
