What a lovely hotel to stay for a few days and explore the local area. Our room was very clean and comfortable with aircon and a minibar. The pool area was stunning and a perfect place to cool down in the recent heatwave. Christine was so welcoming and suggested different places to visit whilst we were there. Yes it’s up a hill but really not too bad to walk back up from the town if you take it steady. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sarlat.

Perfectly placed hotel in the middle of a lovely town. Clean, great staff, good beer, pool table and great bacon at breakfast. Will be back soon!

This chamber d’hotes is situated on a plateau above Sarlat, and has magnificent 360 degree views. The owners and hosts are very helpful and provide a lovely continental breakfast to start the day.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room. Lovely swimming pools. Great setting and easy to get to Beynac. Hard to find using the SatNav. Could have better directions in the booking confirmation.

Absolutely beautiful new hotel. Warm welcome on arival and excellent show around and room check in. The room was excellent and far exceeded my expectations. Separate living area, bedroom bathroom and private terrace. Nice to have air-conditioning during the hot weather. The pool was lovely and also over seen by the bar staff who give you a bottle of chilled water when you get there. The bbq on a friday is certainly worth doing the food and cocktail were amazing 5 out of 5 for everything.

Absolutely perfect in every way! Excellent and friendly hosts, great place, great location! Would hope to return and certainly recommend it to others. Breakfast was excellent too!

We had a wonderful stay despite the weather being mixed. The spa was a lovely treat when sitting by the pool wasn’t appealing - although make sure you book your hour as it fills up quickly. We had a lovely evening in the bar with music and tapas - it was meant to be in the rose garden but equally lovely. The hotel is amassing, down side the bar closed at 9:30pm and the pool at 8:30 The botells of water in the room should be offered for free on a daily base and not just on arrival. Rooms are large, big bathroom, very clean and air-conditioning... very important when its 39c outside.

Absolutely idyllic location, surrounded by greenery with a view down to the lake. Large room in the old part of the castle was clean and beautifully furnished with a large bathroom. The pool is situated in a peaceful part of the grounds and was very relaxed spot to stay with a book. The owners were very helpful and welcoming - we ordered chilled wine on the terrace and a lovely breakfast the next day. Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely hotel in the Dordogne countryside. Nice drives to the sights nearby (20-50 mins to many, many sights). Great restaurant attached to the hotel where we had some fantastic meals and wine (28 euro 4 course menu was fantastic). Pool area and grounds were very relaxing.

Lovely quiet location looking over the valley. Unfortunately, it was very wet so we weren’t able to enjoy sitting outside on the terrace which looked a wonderful space. Very crazy to drive down into Sarlat.

Good hotel we had a room upstairs in the annex. Fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Good bathroom. Lovely setting excellent pool and grounds and very kind hosts. 10 mins walk down to salat main centre . Breakfast was good overall excellent value.
