"If you want a room smaller than a prison cell and have to climb over your partner to get out of the bed and go to the toilet which is soaking wet because its also the shower (which decided to start dripping in the night and soaked the seat and the bathroom floor) - then THIS IS 4 U. If you’d rather pay £20 more for a decent hotel room where you can swing some cats then make like me next time and go elsewhere"

"This is the 3rd time we have stayed here & I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are fantastic, the location is spot on, right next to the terminal with an overpass tunnel so you don’t have to brave the weather & traffic. The restaurants have really great food & the layout works. You can sit & have a drink or go to your room which have comfy beds to relax. Love staying here & will be back again next year as always."

"Really friendly staff, and the hotel allows guests to use a cowork area with comfy seats and cooking facilities. Free tea and coffee with lots of little nooks to sit and relax. Right next to the coast and the i360 so you don’t have far to go to all the sights of Brighton. Beds were really comfortable. The road outside is busy and can get quite noisy but quiet enough at night."

"Do not use this platform to book a room. My flight came in at 4.30. I booked it thinking I could check in at 6 and sleep. When I arrived there they told me my check in was for 6pm not am. Yotel Air is a pay by the hour place, £10 per hour. If you book using a third party app like this one, it will book an overnight stay for you, and at that price or less, you could get a bigger room with breakfast. Book at the hotel's website and stay for a few hours. Overnight makes no sense. Though I would like to thank the lady at the front desk who helped us get a room early when we were very tired and needed a rest. She was a superstar, I'm sorry I didn't get her name. "

Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel

"A lovely welcome from the reception staff, who are all very friendly and efficient. Good breakfast, as the bacon & sausage were superb. The bedroom (a privilege room) was fairly small but had a balcony which would have been useful in decent weather, the bathroom is a reasonable size and nice. The cool box doesn’t seem too efficient & our drinks weren’t particularly cold. No drawer space, which is very annoying and, to use the kettle or coffee maker, you have to put them on the floor, where the plug is ( neither had a cable long enough to reach a plug, which is pretty ridiculous). I’m a little annoyed by the upgrade offer. I took up a £15 per night offer, but heard the reception staff offering upgrades for 10 per night, so feel a little ripped off."
