"Great, cozy little place. The bed was comfortable and the coffee was good. The two things that truly matter.One bummer, unfortunately the main fireplace was under maintenance and we couldn't get the bedroom one to turn on either. Will definitely book again if we come up here again."

"Perfect location, close to everything. Shops, food spots, grocery store, and short little drive to the Lake. Locals are so friendly and the smell of the air is so amazing-trees and nature-clean air. The cabin is fabulous and cozy. We enjoyed cooking and listening to records just as much as we loved our dinners out. Beds are so comfortable and rain down shower head was divine. Cabin has everything you need for a lovely time. Very quiet at night. Neighborhood is safe and enjoyable to walk in. Lumberjack cafe right across the street has the most insane sourdough waffles-to die for. Host is friendly. House is well stocked. I highly recommend this property."

"This is our fifth or sixth stay at Dark Pine Resort and we love the comforts of this home and the view of nature through the sliding glass doors in the living room. Our dogs could watch the squirrels and jays for hours, as could we. We did find that prior occupants had not washed silverware and plates thoroughly, if at all, which was off putting at meal time. We were unable to watch several football games which was disappointing. Over Al we love the place and will definitely return."

"The cabin was beautiful and everything you could possibly need was there. Comfy upstairs bedroom with spectacular views and a nice shower. Kitchen is stocked with everything and nice washer and dryer and cool downstairs bedroom. The hot tub is lovely and there is a grill near it. Parking is easy and the windows provide beautiful cool air during the night and most of the day. Its a cozy, warm, happy vibe and the owners leave nothing out as per necessities. Towels, linens, condiments, spices, etc. Beleive me when I say it is an excellent value for how charming and relaxing this cabin is. Highly recommend. The owner got back to me on a quesrion quickly and made me feel comfortable with being outside on the deck and hot tub by reassuring me its private and calm. If you want a lovely, relaxing stay that feels like you are at home, choose this property. Close to the lake, town and still private. This cabin is also very romantic and can bring a couple warm memories."

"Awesome place to stay! Beautiful. Cozy, quiet, very nice and comfortable beds. Slept great! Close distance to town for shopping, eating and gas. Lake is also nearby. The host was easy to contact and replied quick when texted. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The Gold Mountain Manor B&B was a gem in the beautiful woods in Big Bear City. The staff was efficient and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and served on one of the many beautiful tables on the patio! The cozy lodge was decorated with beautiful antiquities, billiard table, games, a fireplace and comfortable couches to relax. We stayed in Bessie's Room, and it was very charming, cozy, nicely decorated and welcoming. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The room had many amenities to enjoy. It is also a wedding venue for those looking for a lovely place to have a special event. I can't say enough about this B&B, and we will definitely be back for another beautiful visit!"
