"We stayed here on the night of my daughter's wedding in June (we booked 2 rooms) my daughter and groom booked a room and another couple of wedding guests booked a fourth room separately. Overall lovely hotel and rooms, great breakfast and staff and sufficient parking. I have no hesitation leaving 5 stars. However, despite our request to be seated at separate tables at breakfast time; we were seated as a table of eight (I think the newly weds would have preferred to dine alone) and were left unserved for some time (as apparently they were waiting for the "other 2 members of the party" to arrive). I think breakfast staff should check that all members of a perceived group are happy to be seated together."

"We had a very comfortable stay at Gannet Cottage. The beds were great, the showers were good. The kitchen was well equipped and the property was super convenient to visit the sea, the Seven Sisters and the town. The number 12 coastal bus is excellent for visiting Brighton and Eastbourne without the worry of parking."

"It was a quaint building, the rooms were of a good size, very clean, with a tv & everything you could want, plenty of tea & coffee etc, with extras if needed, our bathroom was across a very small corridor, but it was just ours & they supply robes for you to use. Nicky & Philip were great hosts & accommodated us arriving a bit earlier, which was much appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic, a big table laden with fruit, homemade muesli, yogurt, local, honey & pastries & then a choice of what you want from a full English, it was all delicious. It was perfect for our one night stay"

"Lovely place to stay, very quiet and relaxing. Well placed base to explore nearby beaches etc, but to have such a tranquil place to escape back to after a busy day was wonderful. The hot tub was amazing. The lodge itself was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Booking and checking in was very easy and hassle free. Parking was simple and plenty of space for cars. Myself and my family would absolutely stay again and recommend it to others."
