Marco the host was very helpful and the communication from him before we arrived was spot on.The room was basic,but clean and tidy,bed was comfortable enough with plenty of blankets if needed.The free breakfast was fine,with cereal,yoghurts,bread(toaster if wanted)Plenty of choices of coffee and tea.Accommodation is very close to the train and bus station.

It was as advertised but the bathroom was not very nice (shower needs to be redone and the whole bathroom was very slippery). Beds not very comfortable but somewhat expected with price. The guy who met us was very kind.

An overnight stay in Bergamo en-route to Milan
It was a very last-minute, same day trip to Bergamo airport en-route to Milan and Parma. As the flight was arriving late I needed somewhere to stay that night in Bergamo so I booked the Stop&Sleep B&B. Soon after booking it Andrea contacted me to find out my arrival time and to pass on the late check-in instructions, which were very clear and involved calling a number on arrival in order to gain access to the main building (the Stop&Sleep rooms are on the 3rd floor). Unfortunately I couldn't get through to the number (which seemed to have 1 too many numbers) but Andrea must have been waiting for me and he opened the door remotely. My room (which seemed to be 1 of 4 inside an apartment) was large with a table and 2 chairs, a double bed, a single bed and wardrobes. The bed was comfortable but there was a fair bit of noise outside from the road and a local bar which kept me awake until the early hours. The rooms shared the use of 2 bathrooms, which was a first for me but proved no issue at all. In the morning an adequate selection of self-service breakfast items and drinks were available in the shared kitchen so I chatted to a very nice Norwegian couple over coffee and toast. Check-out was by 11:00 and I had a train to catch to Milan so I never met any of the staff. The train station is literally a 10 minute walk away so very convenient.

Excellent communication from Roberto, and nice apartment building, with large rooms and communal kitchen area, and decent shower/bathrooms. Not far from the centre of town, 5 mins from train station/buses. Apartment is on 3rd floor of shared building. Happy with experience.

I could not arrive in Bergamo before the check-in closes at 10 pm. So I contacted Stop & Sleep in advance and they were very kind to arrrange so that I could get the keys when I arrived in the night. The location is very good, close to the railway station. The building itself is old and thus has a special atmosphere and will be liked by those who want to experience the real life of the city. The bathroom is shared, but overall everything is clean.

Very Helpful Staff
Due to overbooking, we actually did not stay at the Stop & Sleep but another location across the road - however Andrea from Stop & Sleep informed us about the overbooking problem ahead of time, went to great efforts to accommodate us somewhere else and made the whole process very painless and easy. Definitely winning customer service!

Excellent value
I arrived from a flight, tired. Was brilliantly looked after and shown round the B&B, all the facilities. Very polite host. Great location, less than five minutes from the train station which is connected directly by bus to the airport.

Wonderfully Hospitable Hosts
We stayed here for a night before heading on to Milan and I must say the owner was absolutely wonderful. Its a small hotel with only 3 rooms, all a very decent size. They don't have a 24 hour reception but the owner was waiting for us outside the place with the keys as he had looked up flight arrivals from Ireland. Despite accidentally giving him the wrong number he took it upon himself to look up everything for us. The room itself was excellent, very large and good air con too. The self service breakfast was nice too with fresh fruit, cereal and tea/coffee available. The location within Bergamo was also very good, within walking distance of the centre there is no need to get taxis to anything within the city.

Luogo davvero carino e comodo per trascorrere una notte in centro a Bergamo. Elegante, ma informale, e soprattutto molto pulito e confortevole. Staff giovane, amichevole e disponibile. Unico aspetto forse migliorabile sarebbe l'aggiunta di pane o brioche freschi a colazione. Super consigliato!

First time in Bergamo
Room was clean and we had a nice balcony with wonderful views! Location was on point because the train/bus station was max. 300 meters away. Area was a little bit restless and really noisy, especially in night time and there was no soundproof at all. Our host (Marco) was really pleasant and helpful. All in all we had really good time and value for money was good!

Отдыхали с мужем в конце февраля 2020. Кухня была доступна круглосуточно, холодильником и чайником можно пользоваться круглосуточно. Это большой плюс. Везде чисто. Рекомендую
