We had a wonderful 5-nights stay at Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden. The location is absolutely amazing, surrounded by the beautiful Bavarian Alps and offering breathtaking mountain views. It is also conveniently located close to many sightseeing attractions, making it a great base for exploring the area. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection and excellent quality. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful, always happy to answer our questions and assist with anything we needed. Overall, a beautiful hotel in a spectacular location. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Hotel and restaurants were wonderful. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet. Pools were welcomed and wish we could have gotten a spa treatment but were already booked. Next time. The grounds are beautiful and I highly recommend staying here while in Berchtesgaden.

This spacious and modern hotel is in a fabulous location and fully deserves all the praise and acclaim it continues to receive. The Spa and pools are excellent; breakfast was lovely and plentiful, and our room super comfortable and with a magnificent view of the mountains. Highlights: swimming in the heated outdoor pool area during heavy rainfall, which was weirdly comforting, and also looking out and seeing The Eagle's Nest on top of a nearby mountain. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we return to the region.

An absolutely amazing experience. The hotel is superbly located at 1,000 metres up in the mountains and has a beautiful and modern design. Our room had a spectacular Mountain View and the food was superb. All the staff were lovely and friendly (Justin, Mario, Anita, Christian & Andy to name but a few) and we loved the activities. We went canyoning, via ferrata climbing and mountain biking and had a great time. The activity team were brilliant and worked very hard to organise everything for us which made our trip so enjoyable. Thank you everyone and we look forward to returning soon.

Enjoyed the most wonderful nights stay at this beautiful hotel. The location is stunning, the interior decor , rooms, dining all fabulous and it was lovely to utilise the spa area too. The staff made our special wedding anniversary extra special with a few treats which was so kind. We thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope one day to revisit.

Immaculate room beautiful standards and amazing breakfast decor stunning too. The view over the mountains from our terrace was beautiful we could see the Watz mountain. The terrace was also private and the sound proofing on the room was very impressive

Beautiful luxury hotel

We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed it. The outside facing rooms are more expensive but we had an inside west facing room on the second floor (looking onto a very large grassed area) which still had amazing views of the mountains. Nothing to dislike about this hotel.
