"The accommodations were excellent and the staff at the front desk, especially Daniel and the bellman, especially Tomas made our stay amazing. Timothy in the Thames room for tea was fantastic. However, the housekeeping got a little creepy as all of our stuff got touched, moved every time they came in. The servers in the River were rude, obnoxious and over the top in waiting on us. "Had a really lovely stay at the Strand Palace. We recieved a free upgrade to a King size double room. The hotel was reasonably quiet and the food was great, a huge selection was available for breakfast. The only slight criticism is that the cold water tap in the ensuite bathroom kept running hot. Don't know what was wrong with the plumbing, but it wasn't very convenient to brushing your teeth!"
