That is the property I rated. It was very kind of the owner to accomodate us. It was a lit more driving than we intended but the accommodstions were much better for us."

"The location of King’s Kastle on Salmon Lake is excellent. The lake is wide at that point and offers great views of the sunrise, particularly from the upstairs master bedroom suite. The lake has less development than others where we have stayed in Maine. We enjoyed seeing loons, eagles, and osprey which are abundant. "The almost permanent view of the lake was magnificent. Since the lake is west of the property, the sunsets are also wonderful. I even took one of the kayaks out to the Lighthouse. Even though it looks far away but it only took about 10 minutes of easy paddling. Great place for a peaceful vacation. Bar Harbour was close enough for quick day trip and then the Loop at Acadia Nat'l Park provided great panoramic views."

"The property was a lovely space! We needed a one night stay in the Farmington area, and this place was perfect. The home was welcoming and clean, and the owner provided just about everything you need (towels, coffee maker, bedding, wine glasses, etc). We awoke in the morning to 9 deer outside in the field! "Ingham Pond is truly a magical location. The cottage is just as described with everything you need in tip-top shape. Kitchen is one of the best equipped we've seen in a similar property. There is a great grill to use and you are right on this quiet pond where the loudest noise you are likely to hear are the Loons calling. Roger is a great host and he is nearby if you need anything. Would definitely plan to return and have already recommended it to friends."

"Myself and 4 friends booked this home on the water for an annual super bowl ice fishing trip. The house was just as described, spacious and comfortable. The pond is beautiful and the fishing was outstanding, we caught fish all day long. Location is good as well, with plenty of restaurants and downtown Augusta within 10 to 15 minutes. Great home for the price."
