Close to City Centre

Posted 20-Feb-2017
Pros: Easy to find, clean and safe environment
Location: Loads of shops, takeaways and restaurants nearby. Better book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Got to the hotel no problem. Spacious room for two single beds can i cannot fault anything else. Loads of places you can takeaway or eat in. Better if you book advance for Friday or Saturday. If coming on Wednesday/Thursday, book ahead for Friday/Saturday. For good breakfast, go to Maggie May, I highly recommend it. I ordered french toast with sausage and drizzled with maple syrup. (Yep you read it right). That just optional if you got a sweet tooth.

The room was cold when we first came in and it took us until the second night to work out the heating (we weren't in the room much). The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and our room was clean. I would stay again

Good for city break

Posted 18-Feb-2017
Pros: Comfortable room & ideal for short stay
Cons: Including breakfast in price
Location: Botanic Gardens, Queens University & Ulster Museum 5 mins walk.
Hotel is 15 mins walk from City Hall. Comfortable despite being basic. Breakfast not included in price, though available at extra cost, but plenty of cafes in vicinity. Staff very pleasant & polite & would stay there again. There are 2 excellent Italian restaurants a couple of minutes away, so if you like Italian, then definitely worth a try.

Satisfactory

Posted 18-Feb-2017
Pros: The staff
Cons: The food
Location: lots of restaurants nearby and just a 10 minute walk from the city centre.
This is a budget hotel, so no reason to expect anything out of the ordinary. The staff were excellent - very friendly and reasonably helpful. The room was adequate - large bed and clean. The room servicing could have been better....the bed was not remade....the tea cups appeared to have been just rinsed out instead of being properly cleaned. The breakfast is definitely not worth the money. The hot food is sat under heat lamps and not very appetising - and a cooked breakfast without a fried or poached egg??? An evening meal was little better - fish and chips which were almost certainly frozen and of a very poor quality. All in all the hotel was adequate given the cost - just avoid the food.

Nice hotel

Posted 16-Feb-2017
Pros: Location.
The hotel is good and nothing to complain about to be fair. Finding parking is a little difficult though. Even though there is lot of free street level parking in the area, it is difficult to find a spot. The hotel is right next to the university and have a lot of restaurants and bars close by and are open until late which is probably why it is difficult to find parking around.

Very affordable. Great quality sleep. :)

Posted 23-Jan-2017
Pros: Very affordable and situated really close to the University and main student road. Bed was super comfy. Great shower and bathroom. Friendly staff.
Location: Really safe location near Queens university. Plenty of restaraunts on the main road just 2 minutes away from the hotel.
Gave me a great first impression of Belfast. The great sleep I had there helped me perform great in my interview the next day. Staff were very accommodating.

Comfortable friendly hotel

Posted 08-Nov-2016 on Hotels
Lovely staff, comfortable bed, breakfast ok but could find more choice and cheaper at the cafes nearby. The only downside of the room was the bathroom cubicle which gave no privacy to note. Spotlessly clean with adequate facilities. Lack of car park area was irritating despite space on the roadside.
