Pros: Can't say enough about the staff. Had answers or researched our request and then helped us make tour, taxi etc reservations. Inexpensive laundry serv.
Location: Close to Queens University and restaurants. Lots of college students about.
Fabulous staff! Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, but minimal amenities. Restaurant on site or walk to others.

Nice hotel in a lively University area

Posted 30-May-2017
We were very pleased with our stay here with the friendly check-in, reasonable price, nice room and area. Close enough to downtown for walking. Had to park a block away but wasn't a big deal for us.

Quiet hotel close to University

Posted 04-Apr-2017
Pros: It's location.
We stayed at the Ibis Queens for a long weekend. The hotel very was clean and quiet. It was very close to the botanics, Queens University and local restaurants. It's a 20 minute walk into the centre of the city. We would stay again.

poor room

Posted 21-Feb-2017 on Hotels
The fire detector in our room caught fire while we were in there and the alarm went off, we asked to be moved and were moved to a better room. The first room was small and extremely basic and very cold when we arrived. dreadful view.

Close to City Centre

Posted 20-Feb-2017
Pros: Easy to find, clean and safe environment
Location: Loads of shops, takeaways and restaurants nearby. Better book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Got to the hotel no problem. Spacious room for two single beds can i cannot fault anything else. Loads of places you can takeaway or eat in. Better if you book advance for Friday or Saturday. If coming on Wednesday/Thursday, book ahead for Friday/Saturday. For good breakfast, go to Maggie May, I highly recommend it. I ordered french toast with sausage and drizzled with maple syrup. (Yep you read it right). That just optional if you got a sweet tooth.
