Good enough value for money.

Posted 16-Jan-2017
Pros: The value for money.
Cons: Maybe a new remote control for the TV
Location: Location was grand and decent deal done with the multi storey car park just across the way.
We had a pleasant stay keeping in mind this hotel doesn't break the bank with its cost but the bed was comfy and heating easy to handle plus good sized shower in the bathroom pod. Didn't bother with breakfast but no complaints about our stay.

Great Helpful Staff

Posted 14-Jan-2017
Pros: The staff.
Cons: It's a hard city to navigate, especially with all the one way streets. If you drive bring a GPS.
Location: Shopping phenomenal and cheap right down the street.
The staff at Ibis were wonderful! Knew the area to give directions, savvy with the internet and always pleastn.

Moderate hotel, moderate price, overall GREAT!

Posted 13-Jan-2017
Arriving mid morning, after a 'red eye' flight, from the US, we took the airport bus to 'city center' Belfast, & walked several blocks to the Ibis. Perfect location; everything needed, within an easy walk. A grocery store is across the street, as well as a ATM, gift shops, & multiple restaurants. Check in was simple, and we were allowed to check in early, although my 'requested' top floor, corner room was not available then. We stored our luggage, & waited for the room to be cleaned. Returning, hours later, we went to our room. Turning on the heat, it did not work, turning on the TV, the same. Airing our issues with the front desk, they quickly put us in a room where the heat & TV worked. We ordered a snack tray @ midnight, it was more than adequate, with a good variety of snacks, and the price was reasonable. Overall, the desk staff were very professional and accommodating.

Cleaners

Posted 10-Jan-2017
The cleaners insisted on continually knocking on my door whilst I was trying to get ready for checking out of the hotel. When I finally answered she asked when I was leaving to check out- basically trying to rush me out of the room to clean it even though the checkout time wasn't for another hour! Other than being rushed out of my room before check out the hotel is great!

Lovely hotel in Belfast city center.

Posted 28-Dec-2016
Pros: Everything
Cons: More vegan and vegetarian options on their menu
Location: It located right in the center of Belfast. Great location.
Very close to the bus and train station, this modern, quiet, and comfortable hotel made my trip a joy. It's in the city center and was easy to get to from a day of sightseeing and shopping. The staff were lovely and I would happily stay there again. Wonderful bed and shower. I also had a great view. They did have a restaurant and the food was not expensive and tasted fantastic. Although I wish they had more vegan and vegetarian options. Luckily there were several city supermarkets and restaurants located right beside the hotel so I didn't struggle. I really loved this hotel. It was clean and comfortable and safe.

Very comfortable, convenient hotel.

Posted 18-Nov-2016
Pros: Convenience, value for money, comfort & cleanliness.
Location: Near a good selection of cafes & shops. Close to Welcome Belfast office, right in City Centre, handy for buses to Titanic Centre.
Staff were welcoming, efficient & helpful. The rooms were quiet, clean, very comfy beds. The hotel was very convenient and central, just 5 minutes walk from the City Halls and an easy walk from the Europa Bus station, where the shuttle bus from the City Airport arrives.

Ideal for City Centre

Posted 17-Nov-2016
This hotel is in an ideal position for a city break as it is so close to the many attractions of Belfast. ie City Bus Tour, The Belfast Arena, Titanic Exhibition and Shopping Centres. Would certainly recommend as a good priced city break.
