close and friendly

Close to city centre and the staff all went above and beyond. They were all helpful and willing to go the extra step to accommodate and make recommendations.

Close to everything!

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, proximity to Belfast City Centre and price
Cons: Room safe?!?
Location: Ideal for the City centre, Titanic experience, Game of thrones, Bushmills!!, Giants causeway and some of the best craic and people in the World!!
We come home to Belfast every two years or so & try and pick a good value hotel as close to the centre of the City as possible - which we achieved with IBIS city centre...in the past we've stayed in the Queens area which is still not too far from the centre - nothing is too far away to be quite honest!!....The room was very comfortable, on the 6th floor so what little noise there was was reduced to the point of being a gentle background accompaniment. Most nights we ate out, the one night we ate in the hotel, the food was good if slightly more expensive than the local pubs. We will use IBIS again for all the reasons mentioned in my review.

Value for Money

Pros: Central location
Location: It was a central location
The best feature was it's central location, convenient for the centre of the city. We were allowed access to the room early, which was helpful. The room was basic, but very clean, and the shower good, and one over a bath ! We would use Ibis again.

Location: Near to all amenities
We were very happy with our stay at the hotel. I would especially like to that Martin and Andrew the restaurant staff. Two of the most friendly lads you could meet. I hope management are advised of my comments

Good enough value for money.

Posted 16-Jan-2017
Pros: The value for money.
Cons: Maybe a new remote control for the TV
Location: Location was grand and decent deal done with the multi storey car park just across the way.
We had a pleasant stay keeping in mind this hotel doesn't break the bank with its cost but the bed was comfy and heating easy to handle plus good sized shower in the bathroom pod. Didn't bother with breakfast but no complaints about our stay.

Great Helpful Staff

Posted 14-Jan-2017
Pros: The staff.
Cons: It's a hard city to navigate, especially with all the one way streets. If you drive bring a GPS.
Location: Shopping phenomenal and cheap right down the street.
The staff at Ibis were wonderful! Knew the area to give directions, savvy with the internet and always pleastn.

Moderate hotel, moderate price, overall GREAT!

Posted 13-Jan-2017
Arriving mid morning, after a 'red eye' flight, from the US, we took the airport bus to 'city center' Belfast, & walked several blocks to the Ibis. Perfect location; everything needed, within an easy walk. A grocery store is across the street, as well as a ATM, gift shops, & multiple restaurants. Check in was simple, and we were allowed to check in early, although my 'requested' top floor, corner room was not available then. We stored our luggage, & waited for the room to be cleaned. Returning, hours later, we went to our room. Turning on the heat, it did not work, turning on the TV, the same. Airing our issues with the front desk, they quickly put us in a room where the heat & TV worked. We ordered a snack tray @ midnight, it was more than adequate, with a good variety of snacks, and the price was reasonable. Overall, the desk staff were very professional and accommodating.
