it's a very nice hotel, I especially love the restaurant inside of the hotel, but if you want to walk at neighborhood around the hotel, I don't recommend.
From the little details to the overall experience, this was luxury at its highest. We loved everything, but most of all the service was beyond what we could have expected.
We came back to Rosewood and the decor as new as 5 years ago. Rooms are spacious and service v good. We also had dinner at Country Kitchen, their Peking Duck is v delicious.
The shopping options were great but one of the male members of concierge was rude. I was asking for directions to the bank from the female concierge and he felt I didn't stay at the hotel and got aggressive. I had to show him my room card for him to then realize I'm not a freeloader. Also the directions given to the bank near the railway station was closed undergoing repair.
The hotel is a solid 4 star experience. Like an average business hotel. It’s far from luxury if that is what you are looking for. The building itself seems to be repurposed and was probably designed for another purpose than hotel. The views from low and mid floors are looking into a neighbourhood that is one you would prefer not to see.
The breakfast was not only busy with long lines of waiting, it was also at best average. Nothing to write about.
Waiting time to check in and check out also long. Maybe they were understaffed or just not properly trained.
Had a water leak in the room and it took them some time to fix.
The bedding felt average, pillows were so so.
The lifts are slow and seem they don’t use all lift packs, perhaps to save money. Again long waiting times. The more I think of it, this hotel isn’t good at all. Anyone that knows a good hotel would be disappointed. For the record this hotel has absolutely nothing in common with Rosewood in HK, which is a great hotel. Think like an upgraded Novotel or maybe an old Sheraton and you would be having the right expectations.
Apologies for the honesty.
A equipe de funcionários é muito atenciosa. Especial elogio ao funcionário Nicolas no Manor Club que foi extremamente atencioso e resolutivo nas nossas necessidade no hotel e nos primeiros dias em Pequim.
It was very pleasant stay over all. We have visited their restaurants several times and liked the interior decor and atmosphere. Since we can't go abroad for the holiday, we decided to do staycation. We stayed at Manor Club access room so as not to contact too many people. Staffs are so kind and careful, made us feel at home. Only one thing to be improved is the variety of foods at Manor Club. They are tasty, but limited choice. Other than that we're satisfied and would like to go back again in the near future.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Disliked: Staff & service
Great design and interior, but rather poor service especially in the lobby, staff is not attentive and welcoming, a super 5 star facility but with a maybe 2 star service. Pity. Could be better...
My friends and I rented rooms at the Rosewood as we were attending a party at the hotel bar. We were awestruck by
the luxurious accommodations. The rooms are absolutely beautiful with all the amenities you could possibly need. The spa and pool area are also quite stunning, pampering at its best. I look forward to another visit hopefully in the not so distant future.
