Beautiful house,, great architectural details. You can tell that it is well loved. It’s a quiet location and the surrounding property is beautiful. The furniture was very comfortable as well as the beds! The bathrooms are huge, the owners were very responsive to any questions we had. We will most likely come back next year.…

The Becket Motel worked out perfectly for our needs while attending a weekend of slalom races on the nearby Farmington River. There was no staff onsite, but very accommodating, easy directions for check-in, and very responsive staff easily reached by phone (I had cell service, but there was also a land line provided to reach staff). I had also emailed prior to our stay to inquire about plugging in our electric hybrid vehicle. Responses were prompt and effective, and all worked out perfectly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator were greatly appreciated. We also enjoyed a great dinner at the nearby Becket Country Store, with a discount offered to guests of the Becket Motel. The room was quite spacious, and very quiet (with the exception of a loud vehicle peeling out at 2:30 a.m. one night, but that was certainly not their fault, nor under their control). We would definitely stay here again, especially on race weekend, when our friends did not have the luxury of a warm room with a hot shower at their campsites on the 30 degree mornings.
