"This property is breathtaking! From the moment you walk in and see the spectacular view you will want to return time and time again. The homecwas spotless and had everything that we needed and more! The Lake Club is also amazing and had a great pool, hot tub and beach. Communication with the host was seamless. I would recommend this property to anyone! We took numerous hikes to local waterfalls and also took a ride on the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad. Everything was amazing!"

"Fantastic house perfect for our group of 6 adults, including 2 grandparents, and 2 teenagers. We loved all the fun games on the porch. We played darts, fuseball and shuffleboard every night. The kitchen was the best stocked of any house I’ve stayed in. The beds were comfortable. And we loved having the kayaks to explore the lake and head down to the lake club. We enjoyed golf one day, rented a boat the next, and we played pickleball a few of the nights. And we loved having the fire pit to make smores. "

"This river house was truly a dream. From the moment we arrived, the decor transported us from our beachy Florida mindset to the cozy, serene cabin vibes of the mountains. Every room was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated—nothing was missing or overlooked.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and we loved spending our evenings working on puzzles and exploring the little library provided. The river was the real showstopper—our kids spent all day playing in the water, and the provided tubes were such a thoughtful bonus. Evenings around the fire pit making s’mores were the perfect end to each day.The location was spot on—perfectly positioned between Bryson City’s adventures and the charm of Cashiers, with its farmers market, grocery store, and brewery all just a short, scenic drive away. Check-in and check-out were smooth and clearly communicated. And although the property is adjacent to the owners’ home, it never felt anything but private and peaceful.We highly recommend this home to families looking for an unforgettable mountain getaway. "We enjoyed our stay even with our hiccups. I personally did not vet the availability of the amenities because I truly didn’t know I needed to. So unfortunately those were not something we were able to enjoy. Bear Lake Reserve, the community, could offer folks a disclaimer for that since most are not familiar with, “on and off season”. We did get to enjoy one dinner at the lake club the last night we stayed. it’s a trek by car to the club from this property since it is 5 miles up and very winding roads.The lake is beautiful and the wildlife is heartwarming. I bet this place is amazing during the on season. In our 5 day 4 night stay, we ventured outside the gates to Sylva, Cashiers, Highlands, and visited Bridal Falls, and Dry Falls along our way. Overall we took full advantage of the surrounding towns and what the area provides. We were very lucky and had lovely weather. Thank you for hosting us Bill! "
