"We were welcomed by Steve and Heidi when we arrived and shown to our room which was very clean and well laid out. Breakfast was superb, quality food and well cooked. The staff were very friendly. Parking was easy and on site. The Bedroom and Bathroom could benefit from a shelf to put toiletries on. We would definitely recommend Hills Farm and we will definitely return too. "This is a lovely hotel - the building itself is full of character with plenty of space throuhgout. With free hot drinks and a vending machine for snacks, soft drinks and some alchoholic ones too, there is no need to rush out - but literaly within a stone's throw are 2 restaurants and 2 pubs - and for powerfully-armed cricketers - a couple of cafes. Our limited interactions with the staff found them all to be very helpful and friendly. A huge thank-you to all."

"A little dated and basic, but was very pleasantly surprised! Enjoyed my spontaneous night here with the dog, staff very kind and helpful. Big cups in the room, with nice biscuits and Yorkshire tea! Very affordable too for the night, would very happily return - given at a services, I didn’t hear the motorway at all! I stayed for convenience, not a ‘need’ and personally for £37 a night, I’d happily go back again!"
