"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location to all of our Maine activities- biking, hiking, golf and fall apple picking. Would suggest investing in new pots and pans as the non stick variety provided are scratched and surfaces are considered a health hazard by industry. That was the reason for the 3 rating."

"Great location to Freeport and easy to get to Portland. Very quiet and gorgeous cove/bay. Amazing views from the porch and main room. Small bathroom but we weren't there for the bathroom. Extremely peaceful and would absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling in the area."

"We absolutely loved our time at this house in Diamond Cove on Great Diamond Island. The house was perfect for our family of five and the water views and proximity to Sea Glass Beach made for perfect days. We also enjoyed dinner at the two island restaurants over the weekend nights and went into Portland once for lunch and once for dinner. The ferry was super easy, though taking the water taxi back at night after dinner in town was also a highlight. Super easy to get to the ferry port from the hotel and also to have groceries delivered to the port and brought over the island. The hosts were super communicative and checked in throughout to make sure everything was going smoothly. Highly recommend visiting!"

"Nicely furnished home. The air conditioning is just first floor. We happened to arrive on one of the hottest weeks, so the upstairs was only cool at nite. The front porch/deck is nice, but had we not brought a tent, would have been too hot to enjoy, even on cool days. The host is very good at responding when we needed to ask questions. The beach chairs are great…we were so glad to have them. There are also plenty of towels for beach and bath."
