This hotel is close to LL Bean, less than 2 miles away. For the price it us a good deal. The rooms are clean and bed was comfortable. Also, great breakfast place ver close by. I have stayed here twice now and will be back if I stay in Freeport.

This hotel was convenient to shopping as well as the Portland airport, and the exterior looked nice. However, it needed some work on the interior. It was a bit rough and had some odd smells.

Just passing through after a late night flight so we didn't look around too much. Nice location for Portland and Freeport but overall, not the best stay. Not the cleanest and overpriced for what it is. Budget budget budget.

Room was small, water pressure in the shower was a joke, and people installing solar panels on the roof above your head all week. No security because they just propped open the doors going outside. Not easy to communicate with the front desk employees. We stayed in another “Ascend Collection” hotel this week that was way, way better. So I can’t understand how this hotel is in that same group. I will say the breakfast was good.

Excellent hotel-very clean and comfortable rooms, great breakfast room. Our one night stay was very nice and we would return to this hotel. Nearby restaurants and easy on/off a major highway.

There is everything you need to comfortably stay.You have clean rooms, comfortable beds,quiet area,a/c, tv,refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, clean bathroom with shower, continental breakfast every morning and reasonable prices. We were looking for nice place to sleep mostly after whole days of exploring Maine and that place matched our expectations. Thank you for hosting us !

The entire place smelled off. Not bad, per se. Just off. The hallways were the worst smelling. The rooms were a relief from the hallways but still not the best. All of our luggage and clothing now smells like it. The rooms were smaller than shown in the pictures. So, that was disconcerting. The bathrooms had mold in some spots and the shower curtains needed to be replaced bc of the musty build-up, meaning they had probably been there for years instead of replaced like they should be for a hotel standard. They had breakfast but nothing that we actually wanted to eat and they were not set up and lights were not on when my wife came in there. Beds were comfortable though and temperature of the room was pretty good.

For a smaller property this wS a great overnight stop. Rooms were clean and updated with new bathroom fixtures comfy beds and towels. Checked in fast but I was the last arrival. Breakfast though was pretty basic some eggs and sausage and bread choices and cereal. But this was way less money than the chains and for 1 night was just what I needed.

Place was just ok for an overnight. Rooms were really small. I had a King bed and it took up just about the whole room,. It was nice that everything is on the first floor as I had dogs. The place overall does need an upgrade. Also, the bathroom sink wasn't draining. I was actually was surprised it wasn't noticed with housekeeping when they cleaned the room, This was noticed on my arrival. Breakfast was just ok. I really didn't expect much anyway.

The room was clean and comfortable and did not smell like smoke. The main areas and hallways did smell like smoke. Additionally at check in the receptionist was having a conversation in a foreign language about our check in process with another employee which just made us feel a little strange. For a low cost one night stay it did the job but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The room was nice, but had an odd smell, as did the hallways. Everything was clean & there were mini toiletries for use if needed. Plenty towels, but the shelf in the shower was super tiny. Staff was very friendly. The bed was a little too firm for my taste, but there was a good selection of pillows. This is in a nice area, close to restaurants, & near the highway. The outlets are a few miles away as well.
