The rooftop pool was great, although very cold! The breakfast was amazing, and had options for me to have a few pastries despite being gf. I wish they did change up their eggs though, it was processed scrambled eggs every day. One problem was the walls of our room were very disgusting upon checkin, but they did come clean them when I complained. Another problem was that we had picked this hotel for its hot tub which we needed after our race and it turned out to be a very luke-warm tub. Overall, it was a very nice stay and I would go back."

"We would highly recommend. We had a fantastic stay. The girls were so helpful and attentive, and prepared a charcuterie board for us upon arrival which was definitely value for money. They also gave us a fantastic overview of Porto and all the places to visit, and complimentary port upon arrival. The breakfast was lovely and easy to book at an additional fee (all freshly prepared). We spent an afternoon in the pool area which was great. The room was clean, large and the sofa bed was very comfortable, and very big. The location was slightly out of the centre but Ubers were very cheap so it didn’t impede our stay. Our only feedback would be that it would have been nice to have our towels changed without having to pay an additional fee but didn’t affect us too much as we were only staying for a long weekend. Overall, the stay was 10/10, and the place was beautifully decorated. A real jewel."

"A beautiful artdeco building restored to a hotel. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Lobby is large airy and spacious. The front desk staff are very helpful and efficient. It's very convenient to get a taxi or get on the historic tram. Not many amenities beyond that. The restaurant is overpriced, unimpressive and the staff are not very good. We placed a food order at lunch, in an empty restaurant, and waited twenty minutes for food that never came! They're good news Is there are lots of good restaurants within a very close five minute walk. The location by the river is scenic and conducive to strolling. We would stay again , but just would not eat in the hotel restaurant."

Breakfast area was uncomfortable, more like a busy airport cafe and everyone on their phones so no relaxation or special feel. The bed sheets were polyester mix so we were itching all night."
