The decor was dated and the kitchen and bathroom were in need of work and an update, but were clean and tidy. Adding bedside lamps, a lamp in the lounge and some modern artwork would have created a more welcoming feel and softened the harsh lighting. The plug in fan was welcome to help control the humidity.
