A wonderful place to stay. A fantastic old building with so much character and lovely country views. Bedrooms very comfortable with great attention to detail and well thought through. Excellent breakfast and a good menu for dinner - well presented and very tasty. The highlight though were the staff throughout. It's such a pleasure to receive genuine excellent customer service from start to finish. Thank you.

We love historic places to stay at. The George fit that perfectly. The room was full of charm and character. Modern it is not, but we knew this going in and we expected what they delivered. The restaurant serves delicious food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay there again given the chance. Thank you, The George Inn, we had a wonderful w experience.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED our trip to this BEAUTIFUL little medieval village and TOP NOTCH HOTEL. Full of history, loved slow pace of the town, relaxed. Everything about the hotel was well-preserved and restored (retaining history).

Fantastic pub perfect for a romantic night away. Run by a fantastic team we had such a warm welcome which is an LGBTQ couple is always a lovely. Food was great, room was beautiful and of course the building really is something special.
