A cool minimal mix of ethnic and ethereal accentuate the modern design aspects of this spacious Barcelona apartment. Set in an architecturally prize-winning building, the classy Tetuan Tres apartment is kitted out for comfort, with subtle, earthy textures and prints creating its own unique vibe. Its proximity to the famous Sagrada Familia cathedral, in the heart of the city centre, make this an all-round favorite for design enthusiasts and visitors to Barcelona. NEIGHBORHOOD AND LOCATION The apartment sits in a sought-after, historic neighborhood. The Sagrada Familia cathedral, Barcelona's defining monument, is literally a few streets away. Eixample Dreta district is famed for its buildings with grand, balconied façades and there are plenty of shops and cafés. He also made recommendations for places to eat that were delicious! The apartment is in a residential, very safe area. It was quiet, well stocked and very comfortable. He was also very accessible and checked in with us at the end of our stay to see if he could call a cab for us to get us back to the airport. The apartment was clean and Jose was quick to respond to any of our questions. He was very helpful in settling us in and offered to call a cab on our day of departure. It was fairly clean, but not terrific. Needed a more complete vacuuming. About 10 minute walk to Gaudi church, 10 minutes to metro, pretty easy. Had everything we needed. Would stay again for sure. Jose is a great host and provided lots of good restaurant tips for us. The apartment is very small (we were 4 and it was a squeeze) and quite old fashioned (our travel chargers would not fit the plugs for example). But it was clean, cool and met our needs for a few days in Barcelona. Would recommend for a couple rather than a family. ##### Rhona O.
