The hotel is well situated for easy access to the ramblas in Poblenou and a 10 minute walk to the seafront. The hotel itself is very spacious, light and airy with very comfortable rooms and excellent service provision by very friendly and obliging staff. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Breakfast buffet was great. Hotel is away from the tourist center but 4 blocks to Metro and 2 blocks to Bus Turistico. Rambla Poblenou two blocks away has shops and restaurants. Best part of the hotel is the helpful staff at the desk. They can steer you around the city or through any problems that arise.

This hotel is a few steps from Ramblas de Poblenau, which is full of restaurants, cafes, and many other shops where locals & tourists come together to enjoy a nice walk under the trees, and music events some evenings. It’s also close to the beach, a bus stop right by the hotel and a 10 minute walk to a metro station.

Just about everything was of a high standard at the Ilunion Barcelona. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable and a few little things set it apart (like the free minibar). It’s a little bit out of town but don’t overlook the two bus routes that stop outside.

Room was clean. Great breakfast selection. Location was great for walking to shops within a 10-15 minute radius. Of note for people who like to watch TV, the channels are all in Spanish. The only English ones are CNN, cnbc and other 24-hour news.

The property was okay, floors needed to be cleaner(bathroom) , needed tissues , none available, shower head difficult to adjust, water slow in draining, cracked bath tub, afraid water was going to leak into room below, not a complaint , just an observation for improvement. Your staff was very helpful.

The rooftop pool and sundeck were very convenient. Nice local neighborhood with lots of dining and a short walk to the best beach in Barcelona. However there was a neighborhood festival going on at the time and it was very loud music and people partying until 4am every night. Unable to sleep. When I asked to change rooms, the front desk said there was nothing they could do and the noise was everywhere. Lots of people staying in this hotel, very busy, slow elevators. Fantastic breakfast and amazing waiters.
