Great spot for family or friends visiting Barcelona!
From booking to checking out we were all pleasantly surprised with this apartment. It was spacious and clean and the host was very responsive and accommodating. Great central location in the Gothic Quarter to see many different things while still being close to bars, restaurants, and clubs. I would recommend to anyone and stay here again!
We had a great stay. The property is in a great location. It is loud at night but we just used white noise on our phone and that worked perfectly. Just loved Barcelona and the gothic quarter!!!!! We were able to walk everywhere and close to metro station too. Great memories made!

Stay in the Gothic Quarter
This place met the overall needs for our stay. Knowing the location I realized that it would be in an older building, plus that there would be lots of activity and people in the area. It was a little loud due to street noise and people out late at night but we expected that. We loved the small balcony for people watching below us when we were in for the night or drinking coffee in the morning. Location was super convienent. Cons - beds were uncomfortable and in need new matresses. I was able to figure out the app on my phone for access to the place but we were never able to get the rest of our party set up as they needed individual invites to join and the property management company didn't respond quickly on our request. Thankfully there were a set of keys in the apartment the rest of our party could use. Lastly, we had a leak in the ceiling of the entryway that was quite bad. We reported it to the property management company but nobody came to take care of it. The place looked more tired in person than in the pictures.

Good central location
Great place to stay with great proximity to absolutely everything. Loud street and hard process to check in
A very nice, update apartment, perfect for a family or several couples.
A great location in the Bari Gotic. Good access to public transport and the beach.
Convenient to many attractions and just a short walk to the beach. The place was very charming and clean. The door lock Ap is a bit complicated but the property manager was a great help. I stayed with family members and would recommend this apartment.

Location was perfect for visitors to Barcelona. We walked everywhere.
The apartment was large enough for three couples. The kitchen was large enough, and well appointed so we could prepare our Christmas meal. Christmas with our children in Barcelona was so memorable!
This apartment is in the perfect location to access all the main cultural sites. Great food all around. The area draws lots of foot traffic at all hours, which means the first floor apartment is noisy at night.
This apartment was really perfect for us. We were a large family group so we really filled it. The location in el Gotic is amazing, the winding streets and shops and squares nearby. It is an active area so if you aren't looking for being in the middle of old Barcelona complete with night life noises, you might look elsewhere. We were very happy here.
Overall a nice place to stay. The only problem was getting in the main door. There is an app that allows you to lock and unlock the door to the apartment. But it wouldn’t unlock the main entrance. We had to wait for someone to go in or out.
My family and I stayed here for three nights in November. We had plenty of room, showers had great pressure. The location is right in the heart of things. We liked how close it is to everything, but it is loud. Again, we knew that so it didn't affect our ability to sleep or anything. There were definitely some "extracurricular" activities happening on the corner, but we found that if we minded our business they would too.
We had a lot of trouble getting the app operational they provided to allow us in the front door. There are two doors. At the second visit by maintenance we were presented with 2 keys. There was 5 of us and three of us could get the app to work on our phones once it was loaded three times. The other two never could get it operational.
The neighbors were extremely loud and up late. They kept one of our group up most nights. They were quite disappointed and didn’t sleep.
It ruined their stay.

Dark and loud apartment in great location
We had several issues with this apartment. First of all, it is incredibly loud both right outside the apartment but also in the building with people slamming doors all hours of the day. Secondly, the beds were downright terrible. It felt like I was sleeping on a boxspring. The apartment has lots of windows, but nonetheless, it is quite dark inside. The washing machine was horrible - sounded like it was breaking and was so loud my kids wouldn't let me run it while we were there. I could never figure out how to get it to dry the clothes so I had to line dry them.
Unfortunately, I cannot say anything positive about this apartment other than it’s in the Gothic District near restaurants and stores. We checked in late due to a delayed flight, we had to download an app to gain access into apartment and it wasn’t easy, took us awhile to get ahold of property management after hours. They provided exactly 4 of the oldest worn out thin discolored towels I’ve ever seen. They were so GROSS! No wash clothes or any other hand towels provided. The beds in all 3 rooms were so old and thin it was like lying on the floor, unbearably uncomfortable, we woke up sore every morning. The management company provided the bare minimum and super cheap items in the apartment. Luckily, we ate out a lot. I couldn’t imagine cooking anything in that small disgusting kitchen. Do yourselves a favor and stay elsewhere!!!

Great apartment; great location
I stayed recently in Art 1 Apartment with my elderly mother and sister. The apartment was large and clean with a fairly well-equipped kitchen. The Nespresso machine was awesome once we bought a week's supply of pods. Rooms were large and comfortable and the bathrooms were as well. My only complaint about the apartment itself was that there was not enough toilet paper for the three of us for a whole week. We got the apartment so we could cook most of our meals and we had to purchase everything from plastic wrap to spices which we left in the hopes that the next renters could use them. I need to add a word of warning to anyone who rents this or any other apartment in this area, though people should already be aware if they've researched Barcelona neighborhoods. The noise during spring break was unbearable. Not only is this a heavy traffic area during the day, but the partying begins at dusk and does not end until about 7 am. There were hundreds of drunk people yelling beneath our windows every night we were there. I had a fan going all night and so was not as bothered by the noise as my mother and sister were. This is no reflection on the apartment or Habitat Apartments, it's just the neighborhood. Overall- a great experience
Shower curtain in one bathroom covered in mold. Mold in same shower along with mold in bathtub area of second bathroom. Shower curtain was replaced. However overall cleanliness of both bathrooms was poor. In second bathroom along with the noted mold the sink faucet was so loose that it seemed it would become totally unfastened with any use. For the five night stay we were provided one roll of toilet paper per bathroom along with one towel and hand towel per guest. There were no laundry facilities of any kind provided. Both bedrooms had very poor lighting and opening the shutters was not an option due to street noise and lighting. The kitchen area was poorly equipped. The espresso machine did not work, it would not puncture the espresso pods. The drip coffee maker container leaked when poring the coffee. One of the Teflon fry /sauté pans was corroded and not useable. No dish towels were provided for cleanup.. Overall cleanliness was poor as was ventilation for the apartment partially due to the location on a corner street with 24 hour street traffic and pedestrian noise. The first night we experienced someone from the street throwing bottles onto the balconies which resulted in broken glass.

Appartement confortable très bien situé pour visiter Barcelone cependant le quartier est mal fréquenté et très bruyant. Pas suffisamment de couverts pour 6 personnes
The Barcelona apt. was on a lively street between the Ramblas and a wonderful plaza with many excellent restaurants. Everything is close by and easy to find. Close to the port and all amenities .
The apartment was a little smaller than the pictures convey but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
Great location, close to restaurants, shopping and central attractions. Overall clean apartment, except for mouldy shower curtain in one of the bathrooms. Window curtains hindered access to opening balcony doors. We did enjoy our stay.
Apartment is located just off La Rambla and is easy to walk to many restaurants in the area. Check in was a breeze and the property manager was incredibly accommodating and helpful. It's worth bearing in mind how noisy it is at night in the bedrooms and living room of the apartment as the street noise comes through easily. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
This property was in the heart of the Gothic neighborhood, and central to all activities we wanted to do (beach, Montjuic, El Born, La Sagrada/Park Guell). There was plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids to spread out. The apartment was modern and clean. We loved having grocery stores right on the same block so we could make breakfast in the well appointed kitchen. Some reviews complained about the street noise, but there were fans in every room that we used at night and didn't hear much of anything. My only complaint is that we were charged a 10 euro late fee because we weren't at the apartment at 2pm (although I was never told a specific meeting time). Our flight was delayed and we arrived at the apt at 3pm- only 1 hour late! David was going to have us wait on the street with 2 kids and all our luggage in a strange city until 4pm when he could come back to meet us. When I told him we weren't comfortable with this plan, he rearranged his schedule and met us at 3 so we were very appreciative of that! Overall this was an amazing apartment and I would highly recommend!
