Gorgous Hotel! Not to be missed!
Mas Salagros Ecoresort & Aire Ancient Baths is simply incredible! This property is gorgous and the bath & spa is incredible. The tranquility of the pool and propery is so peaceful and we wish we could have stayed forever.

Quite hotel amongst trees. 1497 is a very good gastronomic restaurant. The Roman baths are great too. Golf course 5 minutes away. I wish the room was a bit more modern.

Busy doing nothing is the best ☺️
Our stay was fantastic, the hotel was lovely and everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. The walks surrounding the hotel are beautiful and I would love to return with a bike next time round. The Aire ancient baths were stunning and the best spa experience we have ever had, we will certainly be returning here when life gets stressful again!

Lots of potential needs work and more staff
So much potential in this hotel, the grounds are beautiful and the sweet was nice but needed some work. The main reason for my negative review is Patricia from the front desk. She was the most rude person I’ve ever come across in my life. I had some issue with the room (fridge was not chilling beverages, check in was after 3:00pm and also the shower would not drain properly, something I would expect from a 5 star hotel especially since we had a sweet). Instead of apologizing or offering a solution she reprimanded me and my partner for even saying anything. I’ve never been so mortified and we will not be returning. / Tanto potencial en este hotel, los jardines son preciosos y el dulce era agradable pero necesitaba un poco de trabajo. La razón principal de mi crítica negativa es Patricia de la recepción. Ella fue la persona más grosera que he conocido en mi vida. Tuve algún problema con la habitación (la nevera no estaba enfriando las bebidas, el registro fue después de las 3:00 p.m. y también la ducha no drenaba correctamente, algo que esperaría de un hotel de 5 estrellas, especialmente porque teníamos un dulce). En lugar de disculparse u ofrecer una solución, me reprendió a mí y a mi pareja por decir algo. Nunca he estado tan mortificado y no volveremos.

It’s a beautiful place to be but the food situation is just unacceptable. The main restaurant is very expensive and not good enough. There is no where else to get anything!!! We ordered two pizzas for a late lunch and they were inedible . Hard cardboard flatbread with next to nothing on it! A bit of cold broccoli and cauliflower. Quite awlful. Beer bottles were left around the pool for days .

I like this resort, although my wife found it uncomfortable. We have been in many 5 stars hotels in Spain, our expectation when we reserved our stay (about 5 nights) we expected 5 star treatment and facilities, unfortunately, this is not 5 stars hotel, you got to lower your expectations. no coffee maker in the room. We upgraded our stay to suite, but even the suite have no separated room nor enough space. overall, the location, the staff, and the environment were amazing and we enjoyed it.

Nice stay in the woods
All in all a pleasant stay. Nice, clean, comfortable lodgings surrounded by nature, just 30 minutes from downtown Barcelona. Food was a little disappointing, but if that's you're main aim then there are other places to go.

Excellent facility
We had an excellent stay in this hotel. It is in a beautiful location and is a nice getaway from the city. Both on-site restaurants were expensive, but the quality matched the price. The town is a short walk from the hotel and there are some nice cafe style restaurants and two small markets there. I would not recommend this hotel if you are planning to sight see in Barcelona as it is a fair distance from the city center. It is great for a relaxing weekend, though! The staff is great too and was very willing to answer any questions we had about navigating the area.

Peaceful getaway in the mountains
Really peaceful, quiet, secluded place to stay for a few days. We truly enjoyed the AIRE baths and also took a few massage treatments. With the package we purchased we were all to go to the spa baths every day of our stay for 90 min free, which was nice except when we arrived the first day it was totally booked, and also the day we were checking out. So we got to use 2 of the 4 days. Beware of the "free childcare" as listed on the hotels.com site because that applies to children 4 and up only. Uri was a GREAT nanny for us though while onsite. Olga and Ricardo at the spas gave wonderful massages. The breakfast lacks a bit compared to the other menus for dinner and lunch. We were a little disappointed it was the exact same buffet menu daily (after 4 days it gets a bit unsatisfactory) but the other meals were very diverse and tasty. It's nice to sit on the terrace and eat and enjoy the sunsets and listen to the birds chirping in the foggy mornings. The goats and chicken farm was fun for my toddler to see (first time around farm animals) and we look forward to booking activities for our next trip (bike rides and yoga) which I wish we had done this go round! Comfy beds and really nice gardens with the junior family suites.. small side note: the fridge should not be in the back room where the children sleep. Not practical ;)

Fantastic. Perfect for kids. Relaxed & informal. 5 Star facilities. Two lovely pools. Grt tapas. Wizard of a chef. The ancient baths & spa were a revelation. Overall 9.5/10. 1/2 a point taken off for having no drinks service poolside, and a too strict no glasses policy by the pool! G&T in a cardboard coffee cup?! Still, only a small gripe. Overall, we absolutely loved it. Also loved that it was eco orientated and all good was organic.

Relaxing hotel with no noice
This place is amazing and relaxing hotel. The room i nice and clean, and contain what is needed. However, a 5 star hotel should be perfect - and this hotel is not perfect. The pool area is to small and the announced facility offering were for really small kids only. The menu changes every 3-4 months, and for a stay for more than 7 days - it is not good enough.

Nice hotel for family retreat
The hotel staff is very friendly. They go beyond their means to help you. The food at the restaurant is very good. The taste, presentation and service are top notch. It locates at a peaceful mountain valley. A good place to relax. The SPA helps too. The hotel is about half hour away from Barcelona city center. If you plan to visit and other tourist attractions offen, it is better to have your own car. Otherwise taxi is you only choice.

Serenity in a quiet forest
Beautiful spa. Very good prices. Amazing organic food. So quiet at night. Kind and attentive staff. Such a great deal if you get the mealplan included. Lovely. Will return soon. My only advice is it is kid friendly so maybe not right for a honeymoon. I could hear children in next room and they would be able to hear my tv too.

Had a lovely stay here, very secluded, relaxed place to stay. Food was of a very high standard as were the hotel staff. Rooms were spotless, cleaned daily and new towels supplied daily. The spa was fantastic, nice chilled atmosphere which is what you need in any spa. Will be back again next year for sure

Truly a hidden jem
A perfect chill out location with a fantastic Spa. Excellent staff serving very fresh lovely food. Although the resort is still a work in progress it does in no way spoil your stay. Accommodation is to a high standard and the cleanliness is excellent.

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious. The surrounding area is beautiful. Great hiking/running trails and very peaceful. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Staff were in the main welcoming and quick to remember what we liked. Very good with the children; range of activities for them- 11 year old especially enoyed "water fight" and pool. Also family activities, incuding walks in the country; 2 year old loved the animals- chickens, goats and pregnant cow! I was well looked after when I fell over- my fault- and hotel arranged taxi to and from hospital. The food was excellent- breakfast full of variety for all tastes- including vegan, vegetarian and carnivore. Staff very flexible about where you could eat. The eco-shop provided interesting options and was open generously. The pool was excellent for children especially, with loungers around and a guard. All felt safe as staff accessible and much in evidence. The hotel had only been open for a couple of months, so there was still work going on outside- cutting down, putting up fences, planting; so young children did have to be watched closely; but this did not intrude or disrupt the holiday- we just want to go back to see how it develops, especially in growing food and increasing the number and variety of animals. The first day it rained, but this gave us a chance to splash in puddles and get wet!Free transport to Barcelona and back and to the beach and back was very welcome and worked very well; we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and not having to take a car ourselves. For us the spa was a secondary consideration but the experience was enjoyable and relaxing. Bicycles available.

A stop-over en route to Dngkand via France. Friendly, helpful staff - a gem of a hotel - clean, comfortable, great food, fantastic spa baths/massage. Unfinished grounds but will be wonderful when completed.

Not a 5 star hotel
It as a very disappointing stay. Despite a reference to a shuttle there was no availability given that the shuttle was only a 6 seater car for the entire hotel which also did pick ups at the airport. This meant we were stranded and given that the hotel "farm" had very limited animals and the pool was small and freezing with only 16 chairs there wasn't much to do. Not much thought has been given to the hotel. Whilst the food is 5 star the menu on half board it is ridiculously limited and often meals weren't available so you were stuck with vegetarian or fish. The kids club is one room with no shade outside . The senior management is invisible and the staff frustrated. All in all I wished we had not booked as I need a holiday to get over the holiday ... Especially given that we were woken up at 8 am every weekday morning with workmen building paths. Definitely not a 5.star hotel and it will only make it with a change of senior management as serious effort needs to be put in to answer guests problems and queries and with what I have seen and experienced since I don't think they are up to it

Mas Salagros hotel WILL be an amazing hotel when it is finally finished. It is in a beautiful, tranquil setting. The food and wine are gastronomic delights. The main downside is that the main pool has not yet been built and there are limited shuttle journeys to and from Masnou beach and Barcleona. There are also too few places to sunbathe peacefully. Not many staff speak good English. The rooms are clean with a good, powerful shower and beds are very comfortable. The air conditioning works well too. For the price it is an excellent hotel however, if you do not manage to book the complimentary hotel shuttle it would cost 55 euros each way in a taxi and there is only a very limited public bus service from the nearby town of Vallromanes to Barcelona. You need to be prepared that the hotel is very new and there are a number of teething problems at present. Having said all that, I would definitely recommend a short stay at Mas Salagros.

Quiet Relaxing Hotel
Lovely friendly hotel set away from the busyness of Barcelona. Plenty of facilities to keep everyone busy if you just want to stay at the hotel, and only a short drive into the middle of Barcelona if you want more variety. The room was very spacious and the one we had had a separate room for the kids. Very quiet, comfortable and clean. Would recommend it.
