My problem is the night we stayed at the hotel they has issued with the alarm system. It went off at least 7 times during the night and the clerk Could not compensate us anything for the awful night. We had landed that morning so we had not slept and we're leaving the next day for a cruise. While I understand the clerk could not authorize a payment she should have contacted management about this prior to our leaving as I am sure we were not the only customers that night . A good quiet place to sleep should be a guarantee in a hotel. I would appreciate a compensation.

Excellent location close to Liceu Metro station, Gothic Quarter and Mercat de la Boqueria. Front desk staff were friendly, professional and offered an umbrella as we passed by on our way out into the rainy day. Room was adequate but bathroom was a little worn. No mini fridge or coffee in room.

The front desk staff were wonderful! Helpful and just nice to chat with. The hotel is in a great location for walking Las Ramblas, grabbing a coffee and breakfast, having dinner, even a grocery for picking up incidentals. BEWARE!!! WHILE OUT ON THE TOWN. Keep no wallets in pockets, keep all purses around your body and in FRONT of you. Even when sitting down to eat! The Dahlia is safe and locks its entry fot guests only! The rooms have safes. Use them! But be aware when you leave the building...Barcelona has become a meca of thieves!

Last minute booking since my previous hotel was cancelled without my knowledge. I wanted a terrace/ balcony, so I was given a Juliette balcony overlooking the street. I had no problem sleeping and it was located around local shops and restaurants. The alley is quite sketchy, but I didn't have any problems - probably because I am hypervigilant so keep that in mind. The staff was extremely helpful and prompt when needed. Could use some updated/ cleaner paint job and there may have been a sewer issue cause once you got into the elevator it hit you. I wouldn't have a problem booking again if I ever went back to Barcelona.

Room was very basic and over priced for quality. Bed is okay but also basic. Bathroom was a bit nasty for the price. Walls are paper and I could hear everything from corridor and pipes were loud when others were flushing. Bring earplugs. Location is good near La Rambla but there was huge construction and traffic was intense. Difficult to get a taxi. I was not happy for the quality that come with the price.

Staff were very friendly and gave lots of useful information on arrival. The rooms we had were clean and the Hotels location was perfect for our stay. The Hotel is just off the La Rambla and has easy sccess to the Metro. Barcelona old town is only a few minutes walk away, where there are lots of shops, bars and restaurants.
