The place was in good shape, clean but needed some attention to dusting. I found we had about an 8th of an inche of dust on top of our air conditioning unit in our bedroom. The location was great, across the road from the beach. The first 50 feet or so into the water had big stones ober the sand. Up the beach a hundred feet or so didn't. But its not an issue went swimming twice every day. She provided some fresh food for our arrival, extra towels on request, arranged airport transfers, and was generally very hospitable. The building has 4 suites, the common area as well the patios offer a community feel. Everything was clean and new. Supermarket nearby. Rooms are a generous size, a little dated but clean and bed is comfortable. Excellent air conditioning. Lovely pool area with enough sun loungers when I was there. Direct access to beach. Bar and restaurant located by the pool, food reasonable and not overpriced. Staff were friendly, some smiled more than others but not rude. Certainly a reasonable place to enjoy Barbados from. Easy to get deckchair and staff bring out unbrella for you. Restaurant nice though Pizza's could be better. Really nice atmosphere and doesn't feel crowded. Nice 5k run right along beach then along quiet road to Castaway's at end (great restaurant opposite). Would prefer complementary bottle of red/white instead of bubbly. Loved the cats, friendly birds and tree frogs."
