Absolutely loved this stay. Just a 10-minute walk to the Bund, with charming old houses along the way. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Great water pressure in the shower. The laundry room on the 4th floor was a huge plus—wash and dry in one go. Nice gym for a quick morning workout, and the rooftop terrace has an amazing view of Lujiazui at night. Front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and even recommended some great local Shanghainese restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

My recent stay at MGM West Bund Shanghai was one of the best experiences I have had. Compared to other luxury hotels in Shanghai as well as in other known brands in Asia, this one stands out. The overall staff and reception are genuinely warm and responsive. The normal room is really large at 60 square meters and well appointed with unobstructed river views. I am particular about bedding comfort and quality of amenities. This hotel does not disappoint. Spent some time at the nearby Gate M riverside open air mall with an abundance of nice restaurants. View is amazing too. Will return for future stays. It’s not far from the city center anyway but in a modern clean district.
