"Beautiful historic building in great condition. The hotel manager called us ahead of time to check on our ETA, and provided us with instructions for our check in after hours. The hotel has its own parking area within own premises. The room was very nice, clean and with a roomy bathroom. "I was there just for one night. It‘s a nice but old fashioned hotel. The rooms were clean, but in a stormy night it wasn’t quite easy to sleep as the room was noisy, probably due to the building itself. Calling prior to the trip the reception to evaluate where I could park, they were quite difficult to understand (no native German). Even a written request wasn’t answered. I only had luck to find a public parking place right in front of the hotel, within the free parking times. "

"Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet ein gutes Frühstück in einem sehr schönen Raum. Unser Standardzimmer war sehr klein und unter dem Dach und meines Erachtens dem Preis nicht angemessen. Außerdem lag es direkt neben dem Auzug, der beim Anfahren und Halten einen mörderischen Krach produziert, sodass wir davon geweckt wurden. So sind wir gegen Aufpreis in ein deutlich größeres Zimmer im hinteren Gebäude umgezogen. Dies war ein schöner Raum, aber leider waren auch hier die Betten hart."

"Perfectly located for arriving by car and visiting Wismar. Parking was easy and free. We had a superior room which was very spacious with a large bathroom. The room had every facility you could want. Very pleased that there were no cushions on the bed, good quality bed linen and towels, charging points beside the bed and lots of storage space. The staff were lovely and the service was good, as was the breakfast. We had no complaints at all. "
