I love the location of this hotel. The breakfast was exceptional, rooms clean and spacious, would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to my home town of Dunfermline."

"Great for visiting The Kelpies, easy walk to get to helix park. Good plentiful parking. Lovely old building. We were in an annexe so had to walk outside around the building for meals, breakfast in hotel and dinner in Cooks restaurant. Good food in Cooks. Luckily the weather was kind to us, no rain. On a downside the key to the door was a bit fiddly, you need a knack. The bed was on a downward slope towards the headboard, husband investigated, missing castors, easily rectified. All in all we enjoyed our weekend break."

"We booked a family room, it was overall OK, bathroom was shabby. We had lunch which was not good,tasteless. The plates were full when the waiter picked up the plates. I would have thought he would have commented on this. Dinner was Salmon n potatoes,and Ravioli. Salmon was dry. Ravioli was nice. Would I stay again,sadly no, A 4 star hotel should have excellent food x we stay in lots of hotels up and down UK and lower rated hotels have much better food ..."
