"We had a great time at this beautiful chalet! The mountains are gorgeous and this was a perfect place to enjoy them. Such an amazing view & wonderful cozy decorations. There were two adorable fawns in the backyard! Thank you for sharing your home and for a lovely stay - we sure hope we can return soon!"

"The place was clean and the room was nice. The bathroom was extremely small and you had to work around the door and the toilet to get in and out. The shower was nice though. The walkways were not in very good shape which took away from the aesthetics. Also, they texted and emailed way too much to basically say the same thing each time. Overall it was a decent place but maybe a little less texts and emails?"

"No A/C in the unit, but it was nice and cool. Nightime was in the 60's and just open the windows is all you need. The mountain views were impressive. You could feel perfectly safe in the gated community. Everything was arranged nicely. Two living areas with the downstairs being the most comfortable with more seating area. All rooms in the house have a mountain view. We took a nice walk to get more mountain views and walk off some calories. No houses visible from the balcony on the side....perfect privacy. There is no normal "driveway", but it was like parallel parking and two cars easily will fit. I cannot wait to go again. John, the owner, was a perfect host; responed to all emails quickly. Thanks John."

"Very nice and convenient to Grandfather Mtn. and other resort areas. A few minor problems were resolved by the Foscoe Staff by text message. The sharp knives could be sharpened to avoid slippage and injury. Overall a great shelter and refuge from the moderate thunderstorms over our weekend stay. Hot tub very nice.Road rough with ruts-probably due to previous Hurricane Helene damage."

"Ruthie was so amazing and hospitable! The home is so cozy with every possible thing you could imagine needing already there. The kids- ranging from toddler to teenagers- had a blast with all of the fun games and activities there, despite being rained in. My husband and I enjoyed the quiet mornings on the deck accompanied by the local deer families that frequented the yard. There was a buck, does, and baby deer! So cute!! It’s only 10 min from a grocery store, too. The roads are super winding, which would be crazy in the winter (I could imagine), but our summer visit was amazing! We didn’t get to explore all of the things around town, because of weather, but there was tons to do!"
