Nice cabin in a great location to Tweetsie Railroad Park! Nicely stocked with starter necessities. Basement location with the pool table could be cleaner.
Great location to Boone and Blowing Rock. We were moving our son into college. Hot tub was nice on the cooler evening. Enjoyed the view from living room. Couldn't find a hair dryer but everything else was great.
View and location great. Other aspects not so much
Needs some work on outdoor space and lighting indoor and outdoor.
Yard could be better maintained.
My grandson loved the ping pong table. It could use new paddles.
Lighting is needed over dining table.
Spot lights at hot tub not working. No light on that porch. The view was great and house was cozy for our size family.

Could be great
This property is in a great location just a couple minutes drive down the mountain to the ski slope and we could see the New Year's fireworks from the back balcony, great view. Arrival was the issue. Check-in was delayed 2 hours for cleaning and turnover, problem is when we got there it wasn't clean. Cleanliness was definitely an issue. Bathrooms were clean but some beds were definitely remade with dirty sheets with crumbs in the beds and there definitely wasn't any vacuuming done. Old food wrappers were also found around the house and wet linens left in the washer.
Great home and location for a family of five. We had a great long weekend visiting Blowing Rock and surrounding areas and would definitely book here again.
My family very much enjoyed our stay at Antler’s Lodge. The home was perfect for a family of four, very clean, and in great location with easy access to Boone and Blowing Rock. And the view was great also!
We had a wonderful time staying at Antler’s Lodge! Everything was clean and tidy, and the drive in was without issue. The home was exactly as described and is in a great location; safe, convenient, and equal distance from both Boone and Blowing Rock. We enjoyed the hot tub and ping pong table, as well as the beautiful mountain views from the back deck.Only concern was the comfort of the king bed - the mattress was unbelievably hard and too firm, but all the other beds suited our guests just fine.
Our family of four enjoyed a weekend away and this house was perfect. We were minutes away from Appalachian Ski Mountain where we skied. We were also a short drive from Boone and Blowing Rock. We enjoyed the hot tub, the kids loved the bunk beds, and the view was stunning.
Absolutely Amazing views with all the comforts of home!
Wow! The views were outstanding! The house was amazingly comfortable and well equipped. The location was close to Blowing Rock and Boone. It was just prefect! Loved so much about this cabin, it is staying on our favorites list and hope to be back soon!
It was a good location to do the thing we were there for. Spacious enough for 4 adults, a 4 yr old and two dogs. Comfy beds and nice linens.
The only thing missing was a hair dryer!
Overall pleased with enticing everything.

Property was OK for 2 nights. Would not want to stay there any longer. Parking is a challenge.
House could use a good cleaning - getting rid of dust and cobwebs. Water pressure is low in the showers. Parking is a challenge. Not kid / young children friendly.

Great location, but did not live up to the listing. The photos in the listing (mostly of the outside) must be old. The plants around the property were overgrown, which obstructed the view from the back porch (comparison picture included) and made the front patio very dark and closed in. There were plants growing from the gutters and one of the shutters was damaged. The window panel on the back porch was also very dirty. Everything functioned properly, with the exception of the disposal, but the property was in great need of some TLC. We found cobwebs inside on light fixtures, window trim, etc. We found stinkbugs in every room. Some of the linens were stained/torn. The floor registers were filled with dust and hair. One of the windows was even left open upstairs. For the price, we were very disappointed.
Amazing location right between Boone and Blowing Rock with easy access to the parkway. House was clean though a little dark (could use some extra lighting in bedrooms). View from the porch was beautiful both at sunrise and sunset. Only downsides were that we had 8 people (the maximum amount allowed) and the pull out couch had no sheets or linens and the mattress on the couch was awful. We ended up sleeping one on the couch folded up and another on the couch downstairs. The fire pit was great but 3 out of 6 of the plastic chairs were destroyed when we got there. Luckily we had some extra chairs in the car but something to keep in mind! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!
Lovely time at Antlers Lodge. Our family of five plus two grandparents fit nicely. The stairs inside are a bit perilous for toddlers (open design) or unsteady folks (slick polished wood) so we put grandparents on main floor. Lots of seating inside and out. Lots of games and books to borrow. Quiet neighborhood, but maybe not in ski season as app ski mt is a stones throw away. Was perfect when we were there in early April. We would stay again and bring our own pillows.
Pros - amazing view, comfortable space, kitchen not overly equipped but satisfactory, comfortable beds, walkable (with hills) neighborhood, amenities as described (hot tub, fire pit).
Cons - bedding needs upgrade (major need for new pillows), extra pillow cases and blankets is helpful for varying temperatures, hot tub was unreasonably over-chlorinated, and fire pit furniture was broken/breaking.
Great mountain home near Blowing Rock, slopes and hiking
My husband and I plus our children ( ages 13,18,20 and 23) plus our eldest’s boyfriend (24) spent a long post-New Years weekend at the Antlers.
The beautiful cabin is a short drive outside of Blowing Rock in a residential area, near Appalachian Ski resort, 35 minutes from Sugar Mountain and 15 from the Blue Ridge Parkway and scores of gorgeous hikes.
The house is sparkling clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. It is well set up to visit, play games, and enjoy balcony and the beautiful view. The hot tub was also a welcome retreat are chilly hikes and skiing.
The staff was very responsive and all in all a wonderful home and vacation.
