The air conditioner was at one corner, not at the centre, so the whole room cannot feel the coldness. The swtiches are located at the back of the cupboard, very hard to reach, stupid arrangment. Toilet door does not have the stopper, keep closing. Staff are friendly, polite and nice. Room is extremely clean.

Hotel hard to get to in taxi or tuk tuk..I chose hotel mainly because it had breakfast advertised on website,however when I checked in ,I asked how much was breakfast,I was told that there was no breakfast...we like to have a good breakfast before we go sight seeing and shopping..I would have left then but because we had paid already,we chose to stay..Rom was small and about40cm between bed and wall each side...Air con was less than 2 meters on Wall at end of bed,had to be careful not to hit head...We used 4 small bottles of water from the fridge over the three days.The price list said water was 20 baht,however reception said it was 50 baht and got angry even i questioned it..I dont ,mind paying for anything,but I do not like getting ripped off..not recommended,...

Ok hotel if you just need to sleep.
Hotel has no food available, very small soaps. My room had a rat family living under the tub. Ok for sleeping, had hot water for showers not really worth the time or money.

24hr buggy ride available
Family room is spacious and clean. Free buggy ride to Pratunam Market & main road (Pantip Plaza, Platinum mall & massage street) make our stay more convenient. Staff is helpful and friendly.

The Best Bangkok House Best stay
The hotel is perfectly located in Pratunam area where lots of wholesale markets, night market and morning market are also situated in the area. Sadly, a lot of the street food vendors are no longer there as there is a government ban. A very lively street, full of commerce is just a stone's throw away from this hotel.

Cheap rooms are really cheaply equipped. Hardly any sockets for 230V. 5 min walk to BTS and airport link station. Friendly stuff and clean rooms

Ideal for people on a budget. No eating drinking or smoking in the rooms. Room extremely small for a couple to stay in. Bottle of water cost £1:10 in the room no complimentary water. Good location for Pratunam market. Ideal for short stay.

no plan on ever staying here again
to close to a loud train that make noise all night long. it is a long walk to get to anyplace for shopping. no shuttle and nit in a well lighted area

The apartment is right next to a railway line and you feel the trains come in. There is also a squatter camp right next door and the roosters will wake you up at 5am, even though we were on the 6th floor. Under the beds there was a build up of thick dust and the place felt a bit dingy. Breakfast was very disappointing as well

Not a 3 star hotel for sure!
I saw that this hotel was rated as a 3 star hotel. It is NOT a 3 star. It may be a 1 star but I've never stayed in any hotels under 3 stars so I wouldn't know for sure what the real rating is for this hotel. I didn't even stay at the hotel and had to move to a different hotel because the room was so unpleasant to stay in. I was afraid to enter and sit in the room because I have not seen a room like this before. My friends and their husbands stayed in the rooms because we booked so soon and as stated, it was non-refundable so they didn't want to pay for another room. I would recommend that before Hotel.com says it a 3 star rating, you go and stay in it first. Also, I would say that the hotel itself has to abide by hotel.com's regulations before having them as a hotel being recommended and booked by hotel.com. As travelers, we rely heavily on the ratings because we do not know the area and hotel by first hand experience.

Was early arriving to check in told room not available until 2.30pm(got room at 10.00 after intervention by boss of hotel).Offered coffee by boss whilst we waited ,then got charged for it later when we checked out!.Water is not free got charged for that too..Room was a deluxe but not that good...ok but think I may look elsewhere next time we go to Bangkok.

Budget hotel but disappointing. language problems.
Staff's behaviour is arrogant. English language was problem with them to communicate. basic requirement of Tea Maker was not provided. Hot water was on and off. Room size was very small. For Half an hour late check out we were asked very rudely for 100 Bath extra. Over all things were not good.

The room would be lucky to be a 1 star, hot water not always on, many small bed bugs, linen is throw away quality, shower is fit for very very small people, water pressure ( I could urinate more then what came out of the rose). 1 x 600 ml water (210 Bath) Staff were very friendly, not a reason to stay tho.

Worst hotel I experience in Bangkok
We only spent one night and it was awful: small room, continuous noises during the night, unfriendly people at the reception... They were as well doing some renovations with furniture everywhere in the lobby, internet not available in the room, only 1 very slow elevator.

so far i stay so many hotel.this is the hotel that i stay at the bad one.first i would like to say about they service really is too bad,especially is the reception counter the girl dun not giving a smile always give customer see she stink face.some more safety is the most important thing.but this hotel never take care.the ladder did,t have a hand holder,this is very dangerous thing.the electric socket at every room is all spoil,wryer all is come out.you can ask a person in-charge to go this hotel to check there safety and service.the picture and the real i stay at the hotel is so different at what i see at www.expedia.com.my picture that the hotel post up.please really check the hotel is that real got this kind good or not first before let this hotel can booking from you wed-side.i also did not hope still got other customer be tread by they picture and what they write how good they hotel is.if you still let the hotel have a booking from you wed-side,i can tell you ,you will get a same complain next time also. i dun no how this hotel can get the licence of opening hotel.

We ordered room with two bed bu got 1 bed, cocroaches running in shower, shower was so low that I had to knee down to take shower and when I wanted to wash my head I was like gymnastic, bending muself like pocket knife. Sink was always gloged up and it took water sooooooooo long to go down. Trains run about every 2 hour past your window and when they do they always honk their horn, rooater simg every morning around 5 and does that until 9 a.clock.

clean nice hotel. staff was helpful and friendly but had trouble understanding english. our room for 3 was very spacious the hotel was quite far from main road. still within walking distance but was a bit dark and quiet at night time, which was a bit scary. but on the plus side its not too bad because they provide free shuttle to get us to the main road

This is the third place I have stayed in Bangkok and the worst so far. The location is quite good and close to a lot of malls if that's what you're after, but I didn't really like the dirty neighbourhood it's in. It's quite far down this alley where you cannot walk around without being stopped by really pushy Tuk-Tuk drivers all the time and occasionally I was approached by girls offering "body to body massage" as they call it. My room was quite worn and smelled of paint. The blanket was very has a lot of holes in it and basically everything was old and worn. Some of the staff were rather rude. One time I asked the reception where the nearest ATM was, and he asked for my room number before he would tell me. Come on, seriously? The wifi was free, but only works in the lobby. Also worth mentioning is that they will charge you 500 baht extra if you have someone staying in your room overnight. They notify you this when you check-in, so it's not really a hidden fee, but I haven't come across this extra fee anywhere else I've stayed. This is the most expensive room I've had in Bangkok, but also the smallest and the one in the worst condition. Some staff were nice, but some were a bit rude. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. You can find far better value for the money other places.

Good & Bad points. Overall staying - Good.
The overall experience staying in the hotel was good. Stay for 4 nights, the room was sound proof couldn't hear anything from the neighbor. The good : There's refrigerator, television, wide double bed that can fit three-four people, some maps of popular shopping mall(must ask the reception there) and a simple Thai-English guide in the room. The bad : No hair dryer. Only 2 English(some movie channel & channel news asia) and 1 Chinese(Channel V) channel. Located at the end of the road. The staff shouted at the new staff(very unsightly). No menu at their cafe. And nothing much to complain about. Overall the staying was good, kept unwanted to get out of bed every morning because it was too comfortable.

Average hotel on the whole
On my arrival at the Best Bangkok House, I was shown to my room by a member of staff. I was somewhat disappointed as the room looked a lot less luxurious that they had described, and being in a foreign country, not much I could do to explain this. The room itself was well equipped and clean to be fair. It was also in a very good location within the city and some of the staff were helpful, although I'd forgotten that I'd pre paid for breakfast, but only one person actually told me the day before I was leaving! Oh well!

It was best stay there...
It was a great time those i was spent during my stay but LITTLE BIT PROBLEM THERE FOR ENTERTAINING GADGET, THEY CHARGED TOO MUCH, I REQUESTED THEM PERSONALLY FOR REDUCE THEIR CHARGE FROM 500 BAHT TO 300 BAHT. THANKS.

The hotel was comfortable, clean and tidy. The staff were polite and curtioius. The only thing was that it was at the bottom of the road where a lot of contstruction work is still being done. Also very close to the rail way line which was noisy at night, when trains going past, until you got used to it. Otherwise it is a suitable hotel simple but clean and friendly. Great location for shopping Malls, Plaza's, food restaurants etc.

The service was lousy with minimal english, first room had AC that didn't function properly, reserved room with two beds got one. Couldn't stand up in the shower. Run down, hard for taxi drivers to find. Only plus was it is close to downtown. You will be disappointed; stayed in 3 different places in Bangkok and this was the worst by far.

Its a Hole in the wall but great location for shop
The hotel is at the end of Sui 15. Its a small hotel run by non professionals. The service is bad and carzy. They communicate very little and are not very hospitable. I would only stay here if i was on a student budget. Its a no frills hotel.

For the price the hotel was great. You can not get the free wifi in your room. So you have to sit in the lobby and the have a ton of Mosquitos. So be sure to bring bug repellant and you will be fine.

Cheap great hotel but with one downside
Overall im very happy of my 5 day stay here. One thing to take in consideration is that the hotel is lied 50m away from the skytrain and regular groundtrain railway. Which can be very loud as it passes depending what side your room is. Skytrain station is close 7 min walk away which takes u anywhere about 30min to the airport

The Best Bangkok House, best house, worst street?
I found the hotel to be very reasonably priced, and once you get there, is presented very nicely. Staff in general were very friendly and helpful, especially the manager, who went out of his way to be warn and friendly, even giving us an free upgrade of room. I would recommend if you can afford to go for the better rooms, which are very livable, bright, big and clean, with very nice bathrooms. The standard room looked very ordinary and for me, substandard. For the budget concious, they may do fine. The hotel is down and alley, about 800m. It is quite far off the main road, and and first I didn't feel safe walking down a very long alley late at night. But it's Bangkok, and really, you're generally safe anywhere. There is life in all the lanes and streets. There is no glamour or nicety to the back streets of this area. You wouldn't want to walk with luggage from the sky train as it's quite far. Even to walk to the skytrain was 1.5km at least, or 700m down the railway line out the back, passing humpies, whilst literally walking on the line. In all, the hotel stay was very low price, clean and pleasant. If it was in a better street or location I would not hesitate to return. However I wasn't pleased with the position.

The worst hotel but the best hostel
This is my fourth time to travel Bangkok. But this is the worst experience to stay at the ‘hotel’. We arrive early at around 9:00am and the check in time is 2:00pm. The google map show the hotel near the railway of airports. But it is difficult to find. And it is not a very convenience place for traveling BTS or MTR. You have to walk along 5-10 min to arrive the nearest BTS station(Chit Lom or Phaya Thai). But the location is not the element of hotel could control. So the problem is not related to hotel. Since we arrive, we told the staff that keep our luggage until we check in. I appreciate the service although the service is the basic of the hotel. I appreciate the polite of the staff too. But when we check in, there are no one help us to carry our luggage to our room. I am not saying the service is necessary. But taking care of the guest need is the one of important part for being a hotel. Also, the the facilities is not enough for the residence. Only one elevator provide for the guest which is staying the hotel. Also,there are just one air-conditioner at the corner of my room.It is not enough cool. But there are some few complement point for the hotel. First, I appreciate the room service cleaning. When each time I come back to the hotel, there are tidy in my room. The staff will send a greeting to me when I leave. And there are no deposit have to pay when you check in. I hope the hotel can improve the service that I had advice. I am looking forward to hear from you
