Absolutely 👍 awesome staff! absolutely epic location. incredibly nice front desk. Went above and beyond for us; replying immediately to text through the Expedia system, and letting me email visas to print out and were at the front desk within minutes. for the price and the location - a 10/10. will be back in a new york minute!!!!

It is all you'd expect from the star rating. This is our second stay and the staff were as before so acommodating and friendly. Room was clean and spacious with many complimentary waters and soft drinks. Such a good location and our room at the back meant we escaped much of the night noise from the markets. Definitely would stay again.

It is a basic room with limited amenities, no coffe making facility, but the aircon is fine. The position of Rambuttri is excellent however and puts in the middle of festivities. Only stay here if you don’t mind noise.

Older hotel in great party area
Well located older hotel with friendly staff. Our room was very basic which isn't necessarily bad. A fridge would be nice. WiFi isn't good at all. Extra charge to use a safe located in the reception area.

Comfortable room in perfect location
Pros: Amazing location just a street over from Khao San Road. Room was small but comfortable, perfect for someone who just needs a place to stay the night. The air conditioning worked very well. Housekeeping and the service at the front desk were both great. Everything was clean and in good condition. Cons: The wifi was often completely unusable-- I couldn't even load Google at times. Also, because of the location, this is not a place for people who want to go to bed early. Music and noise from the nearby bars continues until 2am, so if you're not planning on going out to enjoy the nightlife, bring a pair of earplugs. Overall, I had a great stay. I would recommend Rambuttri House to travellers who plan to spend their days exploring the city, and their nights enjoying the nightlife on Khao San Road.

All was good except the noise factor in the evening. Street noise (bands, restaurants, bars, etc) was very loud until about 1am. But great staff, great massage right there by the office, room was basic but comfortable, I would stay there again

Its basic but room was clean the beds were clean.. It is loud but its bangkok on a busy street.. The staff r accomdating.. My friends wanted to drop their bags so we could eat and walk around the staff did not like this and kept a very close eye on us. I do understand to a degree but i didnt like it. Other rhen that i will probably book at the end of my trip

Odd layout/small room
Only complaint was the shower. It is 3 ft from the sink and in front of the toilet. No way to shower without getting everything soaked. Would have been a nightmare if I wasn’t alone.

Fantastic Staff and Great price
We stayed for 3 nights. If you are cool with a busy atmosphere, and night scene I highly recommend. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are great for the price you pay, will definitely stay here next time!

Don't expect too much
I'll start with the positives: Rambuttri House was in a really great location for convenience. They have a bags to room and a bag holding service in the lobby. Elevator was nice when you are tired and don't want to walk up the stairs. ATM on entrance and pleasant place to sit and wait in the lobby with fish and a water fountain. Now for the negatives: Cockroaches crawling out from decorations in the room. Wi-Fi is absolutely terrible (you're better off buying a tourist sim for 599B). Reception staff were not the nicest. Aircon filters were black and clusters of dust would often fall out. Lights were blown. Shower would sometimes take 10 minutes to get hot water. Shower shelves were falling off and all toiletries would fall on the floor. Only 1 tiny roll of toilet paper is supplied so having to use the tissues. Everything gets wet in the shower. Very loud at night and the walls are paper thin. Bed linen is just a thin sheet. Bed mattress is like sleeping on concrete and you even get a flat, old brick pillow for added comfort. All-in-all, you get what (and where) you pay for... Good for middle class tourists who don't want to pay too much but still want a private room with bathroom facilities.

Excellent location small room noisy neigbouhood
The most positive thing about this hotel is it’s excellent location in soi rambuttri. But this comes at a cost. Expect to hear music in your room until 3.30am. The rooms are exceptionally small. There is a bed, a cabinet and old tv and nothing more. the flimsy curtain lets light in from daybreak. The other positive was the front end ju and helpful staff.

Good Value for money
If I recommend this hotel I'll prefer to say on basis "good value for money" This hotel cannot offer you everything but is decent and safe. ( they keep the valuable items found in hotel rooms in a glass cabinet with the guest details attached) If you need extras in your room like fridge 100 tbh etc. Location is great if you like night life on Khaosan road where there is a very loud music until 2 am sharp. Otherwise not stay in this area.

Nice stay
Nice resort with comfy beds. Friendly and professional staffs (There were some misunderstandings regarding my reservation but the staffs reactions were very prompt and professional). Breakfast options are also good. Spatious and clean room. Definitely recommendable.

If the KhaoSan Road party scene is for you, then go ahead and stay here--a cheap relatively clean and in the middle of the action. However if you want peace and quiet prior to 3 a.m. then find yourself another hotel on another street.

A good cheap bed
Rammbuttri House is a very good standard hotel in the center of old Bangkok. Close to everything, but noisy at night. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Taxis keep getting this place confused with Rammbuttri Village Hotel.

Clean basic rooms, right next to the hedonism of kho San road. Expensive for what you get, but the location is great. We found it too noisy with a small child, and checked out early, but it is where it is.

Cheap for room, no personality.
Central Rambrutti. Room was average size, and clean. No fridge so if that matters check with hotel. Side rooms, and those not facing the street should be reasonably quiet. Rambrutti shut down around 3am, street side and lower floors will be noisy. No bar in this hotel means 2nd floor wont be as bad as others. But you do have to pass tbe hawker for the resident indian tailor. The local beggars and 'personal entertainment' industry are less intrusive and annoying than these guys (who work Rambrutti and Khao San HARD) so just ignore. Most female staff, and cleaners were welcoming/ friendly, however abject disregard/unfriendliness of male staff, the resident tailor, and the lack of a social element (pool/bar) means I'd stay elsewhere second time round.
