"Enjoyed every bit of our stay. The hotel had a great location on the river and close to everything Old Town. Breakfast was one on the best we experienced while traveling throughout Europe and the owners were very responsive and helpful. Felt more like a B&B than a hotel…good thing!"
"We had a wonderful evening at the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. Wonderful set up for myself and teen, with seperate sleeping areas. We loved the rolls for breakfast. Location was easy to walk, with a grocery store around the corner, close to the train station, river front park, walkable to many beautiful sites. Thank you so very much!"
"A great choice for staying in Hamburg but outside of the historic city center. You can easily access the historic center via the bus stop located directly across the street which runs are fairly reliable intervals and, in turn, grants you walking access to a wide variety of amazing German restaurants, pubs, and shops."

"Excellent stay. Close to sites we wanted to see. Restaurants were also avaliable. 200 year old hotel that was up to date with amenities. The breakfast was super."
"Pros: beautiful location, right in the old town and on the water. You can walk everywhere. The room is good sized and has everything you need.
Cons: There is a restaurant next door, with a terrace right next to the windows (if your room is on the street side) , so you might get some noise at night. Although when we were here, the terrace was not open, but there were people talking on the street at 11pm and you could hear everything even with the windows closed.
Tip: if you drive, don't use Google for directions to the hotel to drop off your luggage (hotel has no parking, but parking garage is nearby). Google directed us to a super narrow street and could barely back out). Call the hotel when you get close. "
"Great little hotel. Clean and newly renovated. Self serve checkin with kee pad works just fine. We did have some problems with our door lock opening. There is a common dininning area with fridge, microwave, etc.. We would come again."
