"We stayed Moi Dambulla for 3 days. It was such a beautiful and peaceful stay. Its also really close to the Golden temple and can get to Sigirya easily. The staff members were excellent and went above and beyond. The place is very clean, I wasn’t keeping well on the day of checkout and the staff very kindly let us checkout late because of me. They also cooked us meals. Erande, the manager I believe and the staff were really great, we definitely recommend the stay. "

"When I arrived at the property, despite me canceling my previous reservation, they were confused as they saw two reservations, and even after me showing that I had canceled it, they still gave me a hard time. They should have better communication with the booking agency so that this does not happen to someone else in future. The room was OK but nothing spectacular. "This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are nice and clean, grounds cleaned every day and the hotel has a great vibe. The breakfast was the best in Sri Lanka. The only area to improve is the restaurant food. We had a lunch when we arrived and it was OK, not great and overpriced. There are several excellent local restaurants just 10 minute walk from the hotel, overlooking the lake and Lion rock."

When you book a room, contact the property and book also the village tour & safari. You will get a great full day package. I will definitely go back there!"
