Really enjoyed my stay the hotel met all my expectations. At first I was disappointed it wasn't closer to the centre but the metro is near by cheap and an easy way to get round the city while the hotel was close to the beach and ideally situated for a quiet relaxing stroll away from the crowds.

Hotel is located in the north of the city outside Barcelona centre but metro close by takes you directly into Placa Catalunya ( cheap and convenient way to get around) . On arrival we were upgraded to a superior room overlooking the garden and pool. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the monsoon shower ! The lady on reception gave us maps and information regarding the tourist buses , metro system etc and directions on how to find restaurants local to the hotel that were recommended . ...

Staff were in the main welcoming and quick to remember what we liked. Very good with the children; range of activities for them- 11 year old especially enoyed "water fight" and pool.
Also family activities, incuding walks in the country; 2 year old loved the animals- chickens, goats and pregnant cow!
I was well looked after when I fell over- my fault- and hotel arranged taxi to and from hospital.
The food was excellent- breakfast full of variety for all tastes- including vegan, vegetarian...
